1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Another Wow Hoodie on: February 23, 2009 08:06:05 AM
I made this for the MMORPG craft swap, but I wanted to add pictures here too, because I saw another girl made a guild hoodie (and did a really good job too)

I made this pattern from scratch, and appliqued the back. It has a scuba hoodie with a zipper, and the front pocket is extra big so I could have the whole battle scene!!

Cheers and thanks again!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / New Panties!!! on: February 23, 2009 07:58:26 AM
Hey, these are some panties I made this weekend, and a matching top

My buddy was complaining about how she was looking for panties and la senza, and how they would appear to be nice, but you turn them over and on the butt it says something stupid like "worth it" or "angel" or some garbage like that... what is that supposed to mean anyways? worth it? my bum bum, or me in general? not sure if i can appreciate that message

Turns out the top is bigger than I thought, and the matching panties are smaller
but whatev's the top fits me pretty good still, I might still take it in and inch or two.

The other panties are made from scraps, an my bum bum loves them!!! so I got it right eventually.....

and these are the franken-panties!

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Hoodies on: August 25, 2008 08:30:47 PM
the first one i made is from a detroit cobras shirt that i bought from their website. took me 6 months to finally receive it, and then they sent me 2. whatever, i still got it!!
it was a test of my devotion to their band.... kidding
so i made this raglan top from a tutorial
and i also made a pattern while i was making this......added a hood and a pocket in the front. VOILA !! perfection, the sleeves/hood/pocket are a black stretchy material with differnt kinds of shoes printed on it. awwwwwww?

so I went and saw testament play with judas priest a few weeks ago, great show got a rad shirt from the bf, and im major happy. found some black jersey knit cotton for the hood and blue lycra leopard.

what a strange little girl i is.

oh ya, and also went and saw IRON MAIDEN yaaaaa and i bought a tour shirt. i was really scared that if i recon'd it i would wreck it. but i didnt, i made a contour top, from your tutorial, and it turned out rad. i had to make a pattern for the bust, im sure ill only make about 300 of these tops...

Also made this corset style tube top thingy......with some fairies

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Tank tops simplicity pattern on: August 25, 2008 08:24:07 PM
i started sewing... maybe 2 months ago. im obsessed. i was dreaming about fabric last night. i see tassles and buttons when i close my eyes!!! so i think i have a pic of just about everything i made now, and im gonna show you in a few posts. please please comment, tips, techniques, ideas, what you would have done? anything, if you see these, please comment.

i got a simplicity pattern for a tank kinda top, and some cotton fabric with sticks print, vertical to hide the chubb  hehe
so anyways this fabric has NO stretch to it, and the gathers below the feet make it stick out, and i look about 7 months pregnant. i didnt even bother to hem the bottom yet, cause whos gonna wear it? my friends are all on the pill! haha jokes ladies, jokes. i think what im gonna do is take it apart and re sew the bottom to the top with no gathers....... there is a zipper in the back too

so i said forget this, and started on a new one, with plain old cotton again, in a red and white stripe with anchors on it. super cute, with no gathers under the feet and you cant see in this picture but the bust is lined with red cotton......and its too small around the guts cause i forgot to account for my womanly shape when i altered the pattern....back to the drawing board........

so THEN, i got a different fabric, purple organic bamboo. pretty sweet eh? has a lot of stretch to it... so it not exactly tight on me, but i like it, and i wear it now. only problem is that when i stitched up the back, i didnt align the bust to torso seam. you know what mean.

man i talk alot.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Indian Hairpipe Bone Necklaces on: August 20, 2008 07:43:33 AM
Lately I have found inspiration from my native friends and family. I have been trying to steer away from the goth and metal influence, and towards nature, feathers, beads, leather etc. I made these necklaces from real hairpipe bones and and antlers. Please Please comment. (first post trying to figure out how to add pictures, please bear with me!!)
