1  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Cat Snuggly on: December 20, 2009 06:32:36 AM
I found a great tutorial for making a baby sling, so I made one for my cat out of an old flannel sheet. She loves to snuggle close to body heat in the cold weather, so this is pretty good, as it leaves my hands free.

I even managed to carry her around with me while I made a cup of tea. Problem is I'm not a young mommy anymore and it didn't take long for my back and shoulders to ache. Tuna loves it though!

Kudos to Leah Payne for posting the snuggly video tutorial (http://slingyourbaby.blogspot.com/2007/10/how-to-make-pouch-sling.html) on which I based my feline version.

Looks cute, but why would you want to annoy your cat?

I LOVE this! So much better than taking innocent fish out of their own natural habitat for your own visual delight. This is much more delightful!

This is Casey, my daughter's friend, wearing the hoodie I made him from a couple of thrift shop sweatshirts. He wanted to look like a wolf. Did it work? You decide.

How pretty! I love the purple lining. I always look at charity shop clothes and think "will this make a nice bag?" Looks like you really nailed it.
