2  Re: Plastic Grocery Bag Crocheted Clutch in Crochet: Completed Projects by deathlessdani on: April 17, 2005 08:42:12 AM
a knit variation:

this was done in all shoprite march bags, they were double thick, and they had teal in them!

it took around 88 bags, and there is ribbing and a lining

also, the handles are made with the figure 8 coil basket technique

4  non traditional 40s movie star embroidered hoodie in Needlework: Completed Projects by deathlessdani on: March 23, 2005 01:05:50 PM

it is a maroon hoodie with 1896234872645hours worth of non traditional embroidery on it.

i copied a picture onto thick tracing paper
cut the individual pieces out (knife, face, hand)
and used them as a guide.

this was for my boyfriend for valentines day, and he loved it.

p.s. the picture was from a book of 40's hollywood glamour photos, and she was holding a flower Wink

those are fabulous!!!  where did you get the pictures? and by pictures i mean the graphics you used...

both just need to be sized and cut.
i would advise cutting out the black for the heart, and cutters choice on the cleaver, but be careful of islands Smiley[
