These are lovely! How do you use them? Ive been thinking lately that I need to get/make a comb (for hair combing) instead of using the cheap plastic ones I always end up with so these are very inspiring.
Do you cut them with a machine?

I found recently a stamp version of geocaching! Which is craft related as people often make their own signature stamps. Its called "letterboxing" I believe.
6  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Personal Swapping board? on: June 29, 2018 05:28:44 AM
Correct me if I just havent been able to find it, but is there a way/place to list items you have that you'd like to swap and maybe your wishlist? I know we all have those things we *still* havent used but vaguely think they would be useful and so keep them forever where someone else could be really thrilled to have them in return for something you'll actually use!

I havent been able to find a website that does this, but I think there could be a great need for it (people may just not know it yet Wink ).

Maybe the forum format wouldnt be conducive to this kind of thing though.. Thoughts?

I'm happy enough with it looking the same and like it even Smiley What sort of makes it hard to be active for me has more to do with the search function and the long process of posting pictures.
Idk how these would be fixed exactly, but I do think they would make a big difference.
Thanks so much to all those who continue to work on and keep this wonderful site going! I've never found one quite like it and it holds a special place heart.

ETA: wow i just realized direct picture uploading was added. Thankkkyouuu! (I obviously havent posted for awhile  Roll Eyes )
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: TUTORIAL for Sewn Glittens (convertible fingerless gloves / mittens!) on: June 29, 2018 04:50:52 AM
Hi. I found this site because of your tutorial so THANK YOU! I really love this idea and I hope to make a pair soon. When you cut out the fabric for your sleeve, can't you just mark and cut around your thumb and then just have one complete seam instead of having to insert the fabric for the thumb later? I have never made mittens so I am asking if that would work and save a lot of extra work? Thank you for making this tutorial. I think you did a great job!

Sorry, late reply, but wow thats fantastic! I think what you're saying would indeed work, in fact (this was awhile ago, but i f I remember correctly) someone mentioned this in a comment and I may have added this method on to the end of the tutorial somewhere? I havent tried it myself, and it might give a different shape, but let me know how it turns out if  you try/tried it Smiley

These are so adorable!! Love this idea. I'm not much of a clothing crafter, but I think I can do this. Thank you! Smiley  Smiley

Yeah you totally can! Im so glad it's useful for you Smiley
