1  Re: COWS 8 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by unjugetito on: March 28, 2009 03:31:48 PM
Woohoo!  I'm first to recieve!!!!!!!! (wish I'd been first to send  Roll Eyes but am working on it I swear!!!)
Here goes my pics
Everything together: 4 chalk placemats with my kids initial plus cool crayola bath and a beautiful card

Opened up placemats with letter showing

I tried to take a picture of chalk side but it came out blurry. They look very professional and the material must have been a nightmare to sew as it is very thick.
My kids are already trying them out while they wait for dinner.
Thanks for everything Spencertwins

This is so great!!!!  We had been talking about them as a way to do portion control. It's amazing how much less i eat when everything is prepared ahead of time and not grabbing lunch on the go.

Now for the greatest journal evah!!!!!!
I dare you not to turn green with envy!!
Front Cover ( that's going to be me in the nort too distant future  Grin )

Inside cover and cool bookmark plus funny bonus pic

Back Cover (you can't tell from pic but it's heavy textured paper)

Thank you so much for everything. I love it !!!!!! But now I feel worse about not being able to craft for you! Embarrassed
I'll still send u the brownie recipe though! Grin

Today I finally got time to wait for dialup  to load up pics so here are the greatest swap gifts ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

DAY 11

They are trying to show 11 but got a little confused.  Grin
LOOK Coloring book totes with crayon slots  Shocked

and they came with coloring books and these star shaped multicolred crayon in a little pocket and crayola twistable crayon. I LOVE them and my kids have gotten so many compliments on them. Church has never been quieter!!  Wink

Group Shot

The  queen's bag (don't look at the hair)

I think he likes it!!  Grin

Too cute!!

Now for DAY 12 Christmas day
Ok so I couldn't actually wait till christmas but still I was blown away and did the Happy Joy Joy dance around my entire living room several times.
It's a Mei tai!
Cannot believe she actually made me a meitai!! ok still grinning here. This thing is awesome. Baby loves it  and these pics are not the greatest because hubby is taking the pics   Roll Eyes and baby is catching a cold but trust me we LOVE it!
She likes to drag it to me when she's tired so I can put her in it. I had to make a little bag to put it in so she can carry it to me since she kept getting tangled in straps( she IS only 9 months and a little wobbly on her feet. Cheesy)  but now it double as her fave  pillow! Did I mention I love it?!!! Ok on with pics

I'll try to put up better pics when my sister is in charge of camera!

Fusdgt:   Thanks again for everything This was a great swap
PS the "pencil holder" was suppossed to be a jewelry holder. Bracelets go inside and earrings dangle on outside. But hey glad u found a use for it!

5  Baclava Balaclava Balaclava... However it's spelled Cute hat Ahead!!! in Crochet: Completed Projects by unjugetito on: January 04, 2009 05:29:05 PM
Made sugar booger more than a dozen hats to keep her little head warm in this nippy weather.Unfortunately they don't stay on for very long before she rips them off her head usually outside right before meeting some nice old woman who will always stop to scold me:
"you really should put a hat on that baby She'll catch a cold you know..." Tongue
So went online to find solution and found balclavas (never get that right Undecided)
But all the patterns I found were knitted. Since I have an agreement with hubby never to pick knitting needles again due to mysterious holes in couch arms   ::)I went on to draft my very first pattern . Woohoo So for those who are still reading this long winded intro I present my crochet version of a balacavla hat!

photoshopped myself out of pic  Grin

 LOVE IT!!!!

Sorry for poor pic coming up

I WILL get a better pic Didn't realize how blurry it was. We are havinng a disagreement as to what these are (they're are four of them) My MIL insists they are aprons and they very well might be but I attached them to the backs of my car seats and they are doing a fabulous job of containing my kid's junk er, belongings. Grin So feel free to correct me on their use but I love them anyways

Cozy Colorful PJ's

Please excuse goofy kid pic and belly button popping out her t shirt She couldn't resist trying the pants on immediately.

OK I think I have over posted here so I'll end now but I'll be back with more awesomeness manana!!!

Sorry for the posting delay; Photobucket and I are having a disagreement but I think I won  Cheesy
Here are my lovely lovely gifts

You can't tell in this picture but it's got a beautiful little heart with keyhole

This is my absolute favorite It's a chunky blue/aqua oval necklace. it is such a crappy picture  Sad I have not taken it off since I opened it  Grin

Another necklace. It has little flecks in it and looks different every time you look at it. My baby loves to gaze at it and rubs it in her little hands every time she nurses.

Thanks I love all the jewelry. Like I said I never shop for myself so these are great and it's awesome that everything is exactly what I would have picked out myself.

Fusbdgt; If you have a better pic of blue necklace  please post it. It is really pretty and my crappy camera does not want to focus Angry
Thank you Thank you Thankyou Grin

10  oatmeal purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by unjugetito on: December 10, 2008 10:18:32 AM
I got this idea from a fellow craftster on recycling board and gave it a try using my fabric scrap stash. I was thinking of giving it to a little girl for christmas but think it looks too mature. Don't all little girls like pink? Undecided  Maybe I'll fill it with hair goodies and a brush for someone on my tween list.
