2  Arizona Can & Duct Tape Bag WHAAT?!?! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by dumblilasiangirl on: August 29, 2008 12:13:41 PM
So I tried looking up Arizona can bags on the interwebz and I couldn't find anything relevant...

I guess I'm the first person to ever make one of these... awesome? or not?

Well here it is:

Super shiny.

I love the straps.

I guess I didn't need to line it.

I cropped my head out because I look sickly with pink eye.
Kitty barfed on my bed.  Lips sealed Don't ask.

Hope you guys liked it.

3  Decoupage Flats?? in Shoes: Completed Projects by dumblilasiangirl on: August 27, 2008 01:10:44 AM
So I was in H&M, lurking in the sale section.
I found a pair of icky looking black flats that were a bit loose on me for $5.

So here they are now:

The bows are made from Perler beads. I'm glad I finally found a use for them.

Look! A leaf!

There was supposed to be a heart, but then again there wasn't.

Yup, that's pretty much it.

I used:
A free (uber-lame) issue of Cosmogirl!,
Mod Podge,
Perler Beads,
and a hair straightener (instead of an iron because my mom is evil)

Hope you liked it 0:D

4  Felt rat/mouse/rodent/etc :D in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by dumblilasiangirl on: August 09, 2008 09:06:24 PM
A little present for my friend's sister, who adopted two pet rats lol.

Rodents are cute. And here is her birthday present:

leaning on a roll of fusible web tape, used a bit for the nose.

the back, poked the tail through a hole and attached to the inside with fusible web.

I sketched it out first and just traced and improvised the rest.

Hope you like it :]

5  DOMO-KUN?? in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by dumblilasiangirl on: August 07, 2008 07:13:47 PM
Hey guys, this is my first post!
Just today, I decided to make my friend a Domo-kun for his birthday
(because I only had a few bucks to spare hehe)

I used felt, felt, felt, black thread, and fusible web (for the mouth)
I stuffed it with chopped up multicolored yarn so in case it dies from being abused he will bleed rainbows!!!
I really hope that doesn't happen though.

Here it is:

lovely expression.

eating a sharpie.

eating my thumbs.

begging for mercy. (please excuse the orange I was about to eat!)

What do you think?
I'm going to make him a pair of shades and a shiny foil hat because my friend is scene... he likes shiny. And also if I have time I'm going to up a plushie "oh em gee!" to go along with Mr. Domo.  Smiley
