1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Stenciling vs. Silk Screen on: August 01, 2008 10:58:25 AM
I want to make my boyfriend a shirt for his birthday...
is silk screening with modge podge or stenciling with freezer paper better?
I've never attempted either and I don't know which is easier or which looks the most professional.

What I want to put on the shirt is one of those anti-drug slogans, you know the ones that are the white word with "my anti-drug" real small underneath...Racing My Anti Drug
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Birthday on a budget? on: July 31, 2008 06:05:26 PM
Okay my boyfriend's birthday is at the end of August, and of course, I have no idea what to do.

A little background... We're in our first year of college and are expecting a baby in the Spring so money is tight. He has told me not to get him anything because I don't need to spend any money on him. (But I know when my b-day in October rolls around, he'll buy me something)

I wanted to get him O.A.R. tickets, but I'm afraid $80 for tickets will not be the best thing.

So far I can just think of a nice dinner because I have a $100 left on a gift card to a very nice steakhouse in town.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
