1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: A Pushing Daisies Pie Hat on: August 26, 2011 01:12:06 PM
Adorable hat, and so creative!  I miss Pushing Daisies and watch the re-runs all the time.  The fantasy look of the show is really captivating and I think you've recreated it beautifully.

This is really cute!  My sewing skills aren't that great, but I was still able to make this in about an hour.  Thanks for posting it!

4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Other liquids to mix lye with? on: September 10, 2010 09:24:12 PM
I totally agree with freezing milks in advance.  I always forget to do this and when the lye hits the milk, it curdles.  Still usable, but not pretty Sad
5  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: A local source for LYE. on: July 28, 2008 11:03:33 PM
Yes--I have used this and it worked great!  I was sad when all of the Red Devil Lye started disappearing, but relieved to find this stuff.  Smiley
