1  Re: June 2009 Birthday Swap Gallery (& chat) in The Swap Gallery by Kerallyn on: July 07, 2009 09:59:10 AM
Hey everyone, sorry for the delay in getting these last two sets of pictures up, holiday festivities over the weekend have thrown me all off Cheesy

First, here's my pics of the fabulous magic yarn ball of whimsies that Sarahj sent me:

This is a closeup of my favorites, which really is mostly all of it Cheesy

Thank you so much, I had so much fun unwrapping it, The yarns are all so different but all wonderful and I can't wait to use them.  I think the white will end up as an amigurumi, and the green and multi-colored will both become scarves Cheesy

I also received my stamp from sparky last week, as well as some other goodies.  Here they are...

First she made me a wonderful birthday card:

Then, she made me the stamp for the back of my ATC's.  Ive seen these before, but I've never liked the style of the ones that are typically for sale, I just wanted something the matched my style and gave me some ruled lines to write one.  Well, she totally hit the nail on the head with this amazing stamp.  Also in the picture, she made a smaller triquetra stamp and sent me some seashells and wonderful keys:

And finally, she made me some awesome watercolor bookmarks that I think are based off some buried deep in my wists:

I totally love everything I've received in this swap!  A million Thank You's to my fabulous partners Cheesy  And Happy Birthday to everyone!

Radmom, I add my wishes for recovery to everyone else's.  Hope you're better soon!

And here, to take your mind off it, I'm finally catching up on all my picture posting.  Here's the wonderful things that Solitaire sent to me...

beautifully embroidered kitchen towels and pot holders:

a lovely journal that I couldn't get craftster to rotate for me:

a crocheted Gryffindor scarf:

a birdbath for the garden:

a tree of life pendant and wire wrapped moonstone:

a bubble wand for my daugher:

a colorful button bracelet:

She also sent me fabulous golden snitch earrings like these except the beads she used were fabulous golden filigree instead of roses and were just perfect, and an embroidered eyemask with a lavender scented insert, neither of which made it into pictures because the earring were in my ears and the mask was cooling in the freezer for my nap Cheesy

Ok, here's my pictures of the wonderful things I received from Chibi and Ronda.  Fair warning, there are a LOT of pictures Cheesy

I don't know if these count as milifiore, since there's really only one flower - maybe unafiore?  Cheesy  But really it doesn't matter because I love these a thousand times more than regular milifiore beads -

Here are the fabulous stone beads still on their strings -

Here they are unstrung and separated, the glass flowers are done by dominant color.  Ronda, I'd love if you could ID the stones for me.  I know some, but most I'd just be guessing -

Here's the rest of the wonderful glass beads.  Some of them don't have great focus, my camera just didn't seem to like them -

And here are the awesome metal charms and findings.  The three bags are hooks and rings and leaf charms.  The two cups are filled with tiny awesome things -

There was also a beautiful pair of earrings and a collection of stones from Ronda which somehow failed to make it into my crafter photo hosting, so I"ll have to track them down and post them later.  I've also started making some adorable bracelets and I'll post some pictures of those as well Smiley

Thank you so much, Chibi and Ronda!!!

I realized today that I have a bunch of swap photos to post, so here's the wonderful steampunk jewelry that Atsuko made for me Cheesy

The bee came on a chain, but as you can see, it also has a pin back, and I've been wearing it as a brooch with my favorite little black dress Cheesy

Thank you so much, Atsuko, I love them!

6  Re: earring addiction swap GALLERY! in The Swap Gallery by Kerallyn on: June 09, 2009 05:06:14 AM
Hey everyone, so as I was uploading pictures for another swap, I realized I hadn't uploaded all my earring pictures and if I hadn't uploaded them, then I couldn't have posted them, so after much delay, here are all my pictures of the earrings I received.  I completely love them all!

Now, I'm very sorry if I mislabel anything - kind of got the mixed up while I was taking pictures, but here we go...

From Krafty_Karasu

From mermaidcafe

From boogirl1984

From jca1982

From wx2dzug

Again, I think I got the right names with the right earrings, but I'm so sorry if I mixed them up!

10  Re: Magic Yarn Ball Swap Round 10 in The Swap Gallery by Kerallyn on: May 05, 2009 11:29:32 AM
Ok, so my partner received a last week, but hasn't had time to post pics, so here's my shots of what I sent to imthecutest81:

The ball:

The stuff I made:  These include a Hello Kitty crocheted shoulder bag, Helly Kitty painted cork board with shrinky dink push pins, shrink dink earings in the form of Link's shield from one of the Zelda games, an amigurumi flower person, and a bracelet with a hand painted glass bead

And here are the extras:  She had a lot of crocheted flowers in her wist, so I sent her a bunch of yarn and other materials that I like to use to crochet flowers along with a selection of patterns and hooks.  There's also some candy and other assorted trinkets, stickers and craft supplies.
