7  COOKING / Dessert / Re: NWS Cakes! on: June 18, 2009 10:54:47 AM
your cake are great! What detail!!! I used to do quite a bit of airbrushing cake when I worked as a cake decorator.  While you do have a wonderful use/sense of color and design (haha, well.. of a penis!) I notice that your spray looks speckled and not smooth.  Are you using edible airbrush coloring? Regular icing coloring is too thick for an airbrush and can make the speckled effect.   Perhaps it's just lighting and the way the photo is taken... Either way, I still think it's an amazing job. Flesh is a hard color to master Wink

I LOVE it!!! very jelous!

I like the idea of an old 60's diner... turquoise on the outside with red sparkly vinyl  in the inside and chrome.  If you did stencil something (a picture I mean) I'd put a tattoo on it.  Haha... like an old sailor jerry tattoo.  Best of luck, and i don't care if it takes you years to finish!!! We better see final pictures!!!!

I love the little crystal lamp hanging in your room, did you make that or purchase it??
10  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: USED lab glassware?? on: June 10, 2009 08:15:01 AM
Do you know anyone expecting their own little scientist? or perhaps just someone who wants to redo their kids room...

We used to break open highlighters and put them in water filled liquor bottles (in college) and they would glow, especially under a black light.  I'd just love a nursery like this!

I found these photos just by doing a Google search. The room was done for a baby named Edison.  Too cute! <3
