9  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!! Nemo top and hat for my son on: August 22, 2008 09:22:24 AM
The shirt is AWESOME!!!  I love it, am a huge Disney fan and 31.  The shirt looks kind of like a Hawaiian or tropical.  It's gonna be a huge hit.  I'll even bet someone ask were you got it.  What really makes the shirt and hat nice is the wearer.  Hope you have a great time!  Smiley  Lisa
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: Help! New bedroom is 6 foot by 6 foot...now with a million pictures! on: July 30, 2008 11:12:42 AM
Wow thats a lot of work.  I love the tiles.  My Recommendation:  pull up the carpet, clean up the tiles and put down area rugs.  Might help the room look bigger and fresh.  Also, if you want to remove the wall paper, here's a tip.  I once helped a friend remove wall paper from her moms house.  We scored the wall paper with a wool sponge, or something that will scruff up the top layer (not too much) then use a mixture of liquid fabric softener mixed with water (1:2) and sponge liberally on the walls.  Repeat if necessary to make sure it soaks thru. In a couple of minutes it will peal right off.  Other wise wall paper can be tricky to remove with out damaging the dry wall.  You might want to try this in an area that can be covered by furniture in case you decide not to remove it.  Hope this help some of your dilemma Smiley

Best wishes,

Lisa
