1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / LYS near Brooklyn Bridge? on: November 08, 2008 01:25:45 PM
Hi, I am taking a very quick trip and am staying at the Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge.  Can anyone help me with finding a close LYS - one that is easy to get to or won't cost me a fortune in cab fare?
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Logan's stuffie, Jacob on: August 02, 2008 08:08:11 AM
My kids have been busy drafting stuffies on paper and then crafting them from (acrylic) felt, scrap fabric, and fun yarn.  My eight year old, Logan, designed, embellished, and hand sewed this monster named Jacob.  The kids are all new to needle work and I am sure Logan would appreciate any feedback/comments.

This is my first attempt at posting a photo, so I hope it works!!!!!
