Upon DD1's request I made an applique of '5' on her tshirt and made a cheerleader skirt. She's now a happy Hi5 girl!

Please see my blog for more details and photos.

I made a reversible baby hat for DD2. I very like how it turned out. Very pink. LOL.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Women's thermo to baby leggings on: September 23, 2011 12:05:58 PM

I made a pair of baby leggings from one of my thermos that became too skinny for me. It's a very soft material and I just hated to throw it away. Now my 1yo DD2 can comfortably wear it for a season or two.

This is the original thermo and my baby leggings pattern.

4  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / What to do with sequin fabric? on: August 05, 2011 02:23:50 PM
I got a whole roll of purple sequin fabric, about 3mm sequins glued on mesh fabric. Very beautiful fabric and I can imagine it being very useful for my two girls. But what can I sew using this large amount of fabric? The girls are 4.5 yo and 10 month old and they don't have any dancing classes or any activities related to dancing. What else can I use it for?
5  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: what do YOU do with your scraps? on: October 05, 2009 09:31:45 PM
Wow it's great to get so many inspirations! I have two huge bags of (tiny) scraps and a full drawer of medium scraps that I need to work on.

Here's what I've done with my scraps:
Seatbelt covers
Little bows/ruffles for decorations on clothes
Stuffing of pillows/draft stoppers etc
Name tags
House slippers
Camera bags/phone pouches
Cloth pads
Cloth liners
Door stoppers
Shoe pads

6  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / How do you sew bias tape on curves? on: March 26, 2009 05:11:47 PM
I've tried to google but only found how to sew bias tapes on corners, not on curves. Does anyone know how?
7  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: zillions of t-shirts on: September 07, 2008 05:29:41 AM
Borrow a book called Generation T from your local libray. It shows you 108 ways to refashion your Tshirts. I'm really fanscinated by all the ideas and just wish I had the time to try all of them out!
8  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: black pants? on: September 07, 2008 05:19:20 AM
Hi there,

I'm planning to use my black pants in my next messenger bag project. I'm using pretty colourful fabric to make the main body of the messenger bag, but I think the colourful fabric is kind of borning, so I'm thinking of cutting strips of black fabrics to make a few black lines, kind of like binding, IYKWIM.
