1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Teal, Plaid, and Babydoll. Do you need something else? on: January 14, 2008 11:58:28 AM
I found a pattern for this dress in my grandma's house last summer and it just sat in my sewing room for ages. I brought it with me to college and made it there. Because apparently Boston and Babydoll dresses go together? I don't know. Anyways, here it is.

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Now me and my grandpa can match! ~ An oogly christmas sweater dress on: January 14, 2008 11:55:10 AM
I found this sweater at thrift and thought it had some potential. For a few weeks it sat in my crafting corner in the basement providing warmth for me and whoever else could fit inside. But since then I have located the thermostat and it was time to say goodbye. No before pictures but it was an XXXL sweater, imagine the hideousness.

Close up of fabric (ignore the weird drug riddled look on my face. I have no idea why my eye looks so wonky)

I'm wondering how long I can wear a Christmas dress for. I figure at least until all the decorations in my town are gone, so that'll carry me into April.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Sweetheart Striped Sundress...with cherries! on: July 22, 2007 11:13:08 AM
I bought this fabric a while ago at the thrift store and I didn't know what to do with it. I forgot about it and discovered it again recently. I've been on a sundress kick lately so I made myself a new one.

I didn't have a pattern so I had to make my own. I don't quite trust my pattern making skills, but I'm pretty happy with the way this one came out.

The bottom part is lined. It would have been see through otherwise! And where are the cherries? The buttons of course! They are the small cherry buttons that rag shop sells. I thought I'd used them already.

4  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Urban Outfitters girlscout top Knockoff *pictures* on: July 22, 2007 11:06:20 AM
I saw this top online somewhere and thought "Oh My Goodness, I must have it!"

But, It's an Urban Outfitters shirt and they want 40 dollars for everything. So when I found a girl scout sash at a turnover sale, I knew it was meant to be.

I feel like an anime character in this photo:

Annnd Badges I added. I earned these!:

The badges are, from top, Sports, Dance, Horse Appreciation, and (I think)Computer Fun. Oh yeah, nerd badge.

I made the shirt myself out of some jersey b/w knit I had. I didn't have a pattern hence why the collar is a little wonky.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Vintage Lime Gingham Sundress...Joy!! on: June 03, 2007 06:21:50 PM
I was looking around through my closet and realized, hey I think I need a new sundress. With a empty sunday afternoon and a new bottle of Oragina it was time to get sewing!

I used this McCalls Pattern

Annnd made this

Too Bad it's raining for the next day or two. I want to bust it out now!

8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Little Shop of Horrors Swap? on: April 10, 2007 06:14:59 PM
My love of Little Shop has recently resurfaced and I thought "Oh my goodness, that would be such a fun swap!" Do any other crafters share my love of Little Shop and want to do a swap based on it?
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / This post is brought to you by stripes, pink, and the number three on: February 20, 2007 04:11:44 PM
Eep, I've been meaning to share some of my latest crafted items with you.

I altered the amazing tutorial by TheGoblinPrincess for garter belt's a bit and got this. It's made from a t-shirt, though a skirt would probably have been easier :O

'80's hoodie! Made from t-shirts, fabric, and Tiffany. It makes me feel so deliciously tacky. Yay!

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Japanese Street Style Inspired Headbands on: November 16, 2006 05:11:45 PM
I've been toying around with these for a while. I really like the way they come out!

My favourite one!

I made a zebra one for my swap partner in the japanese swap. She also sent me some headbands!
