Check out the absolutely AMAZING package I received from AlwaysInspired today!    There are so may items, I am going to have to post twice to get it all in!!!

I am so very touched by all the love and attention that went into each item.  I can't thank her enough for making this the best swap EVER!!

First off is a group shot of everything!

Next we have the newest member of the family!  She doesn't have a name yet.. does anyone have any suggestions.. she can become the swap mascot (lol)

This is a kitchen witch's dream - A complete Samhain set - potholder, dishcloth, and a reversible alter cloth!   The apron is below!!

This it the bestest Samhain apron ever!!  and it is reversible!!

Now we know what AlwaysInspired was using the power tools for - to make the absolutely perfect spoon wand!!

And that;s not even everything....  She also sent 2 sage wands made from her garden, a necklace with 3 charms, A wrapped Samhain gift (it's so hard not to open it, but I am going to be good.), a box of tumbled agates, and a lovely card!   I will post more pics in another post !!

4  Re: Favorite Recipes Mini Swap! Sign-ups CLOSED Send by: Sept. 1 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by BetNuit on: August 10, 2008 06:21:12 PM
Wow you guys are FAST!   Grin I am no where near done, but I do have a teaser pic!  The colors are way off in the pic- the background is a dark brown the blue in the flowers are teal, not baby blue.  I chose it because Cinnamon Teal listed brown and blue as one of her fav color combos.  Plus, in person, it is very retro, which I think she will like.

I doubt it will match her current kitchen color scheme, but if it clashes too much, or she hates it  Cry, she can always store it in a drawer  Embarrassed

Checkout the AWSOME dishclothes Cinnamon Teal sent me!  It's hard to tell from the pic but one is a paw print and the other a kitty face!  I LOVE THEM!!!  She also sent the pups some dogs treats.  Thanks so much
for being a great swap partner!

Abbys Favorite Peanut Butter Puppy Treats

1 cup lactose-free milk
1 cup all natural peanut butter
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup chopped oats

1-2 cups yogurt chips (optional*)

Preheat oven to 400
Mix milk and peanut butter in a large bowl until smooth
Combine flour, oats, and baking powder in a separate large bowl
Gradually add dry ingredients to peanut butter mixture
Knead dough by hand, add small amounts of milk if dough is too dry
Roll out dough to thickness on lightly floured surface
Cut out treats using a dog bone cookie cutter

Bake treats on un-greased cookie sheet for 15 minutes.  Turn the oven off, but leave treats in the
oven to dry out for 1-2 hours.  Store treats in airtight containers or in fridge for up to 2 weeks.

* Optional: Once the treats are completely cooled, melt yogurt chips in the microwave. Dip of
each treat into melted yogurt and place on wax paper to harden.

6  Re: Craft My Fave Disney Movie? in New Swap Theme Ideas by BetNuit on: July 11, 2008 11:10:10 PM
For those Disney fans out there, I have just started using polymer clay and I came across a craft book on disney characters - not sure it is even still in print, but you might be able to find it on ebay??  It looks REALLY good.  For experienced clay crafters you could probably just look at the front cover and make the projects.
