How did you finish it? The only way I know to remove stitches from the loom is to sew a tread through every loop and then cinch it closed. That obviously wouldn't work for this.
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: Nursery that isn't cutesy and doesn't suck. on: December 05, 2009 06:25:58 PM
Excellent point.

For decorating my own home, I usually go for an Anthropologie style shabby chic, mixed with more dark colors rather than pastels. I love browns, greens, neutrals and the like. I'm a nut for leaves and trees. If I could paint the walls, it would really help. Unfortunately, I rent.
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Nursery that isn't cutesy and doesn't suck. on: November 24, 2009 10:33:05 AM
So I'm pregnant. One of the things I am thinking about is how to decorate the nursery. Unfortunately I hate cutesy stuff. I don't want my baby living in a Noah's Ark, alphabet, polka dot and pastel hell. I want the nursery to be awesome, not cutesy. I don't know the sex yet, but I was hoping someone had ideas. I haven't been able to find a single website that caters to this type of thing. Thanks!

I love it! I was looking at lingerie today and wishing I knew how to make it. And you have a great figure for it!

8  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Spinning Aspirations on: December 19, 2008 01:48:46 PM
I am dying to learn how to spin. Every Friday I look at the yarn you guys make and ache with jealousy.

Does anyone have a ball park figure of how much it would cost to get the supplies I would need to start learning?

Can anyone tell me what type of pants these are or where I can find a pattern? I don't even know what to type in to google it! I loooove them.

I am only just starting to sew. Can anyone give me a makeshift pattern for how to sew this?
