1  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Pikashoes ! on: April 19, 2012 02:46:54 PM
Cute! I have that same bedsheet... used part of it to make a bag, have to decide what to do with the rest!
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: 2012 DeStash-Along on: January 12, 2012 08:42:18 AM
Think I need to join you all in this venture. Since I moved from the dorms to a rather spacious house a year ago, my stash has pretty much expanded to fill all the available space in the craft room. Almost seems like my fabric is breeding...

Going to try my hardest to finish my couch slipcover and matching chair over the long weekend. Uses a lot of fabric, and they are striped!

Love everyone's projects so far!
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Re: My First Attempt at Pottery on: December 07, 2011 10:55:39 AM
These are beautiful! Much better than my first attempts...

I so wish I had a home studio, miss pottery so much!
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Faux-granite countertop! Just a little paint and elbow grease! on: November 30, 2011 02:11:16 PM
These are beautiful, and you didn't have to spend the money on a kit!

I'm planning on painting my kitchen cabinets and so desperately wish this method would work instead of having to buy new counters. But, alas, for some silly reason half my kitchen has laminate counters, and the other half is tile.  Sad
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Doll House on: October 06, 2011 06:27:09 PM
So pretty, love the wallpaper and beaded curtain!

Now I want to crack open my kit...
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Retro-Book Lovers Unite! on: July 18, 2011 04:30:04 PM
I love the tactile feel of "retro" books. I refuse to spend more than a quarter on most of them though, but have still managed to amass a collection of 500+ paperbacks.

I also love bookmarks, and have quite a few. Love yours, might have to make some fabric ones for myself!
7  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Lackadaisy Cats Swap? on: July 15, 2011 01:18:15 PM
Depending on the time/size, I'd maybe be interested. Fun to read, and I love the illustrations.
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Coat rack revamp. on: May 01, 2011 03:38:36 PM
I like it, very Piet Mondrian!
9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Brianstorming for my sister's shower.. on: April 26, 2011 08:40:02 PM
I am personally in love with the see-through string balls, especially when made in white. You could put them in big glass jars for centerpieces or hang them from the ceiling.

10  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Embroidery Hoopla Rnd 5 - Color Spectrum!! (SignUp 4/15/11-4/30/11, Send 6/6/11) on: April 20, 2011 06:22:38 PM
Still deciding if the timing is going to work for me, though I suspect I am going to make it work!  Wink

Even though I live in a city of roughly 60,000 people, there are no fabric stores. There are a plethora of quilting stores, which I'm sure are great for quilters, but there is nowhere to buy fabric for clothing or home decor. The local Wal-Mart has a pretty extensive fabric selection, but it's just not the same. Sad
