4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Barbie bust keychain on: January 17, 2009 12:59:00 PM

This was just a *pop-in-the-head* idea I got when I opened my long-put-away-in-the-storage-room crate with some of my childhood toys and barbies etc.

I found 3 headless barbies [seems I must've been a troubled child  Lips sealedGrin I suddenly decided that I want to do something with them, but didn't quite know what. Then *POP*! keychain!

I had trouble taking the body parts apart  Tongue

PLEASE DO NOT CLAIM AS OWN!♥
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Jean TOte Bag on: January 17, 2009 10:31:46 AM

I had this jean that I never wear [it was too short for me] and I have been longing to make myself a bag out of it. Undecided

I knitted the handle , took me 3 days, I used 3 different wools.

I sowed it with an elna lotus 1000 [very old]

enjoy  Cheesy
6  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hey hey!! from SA on: August 17, 2008 01:58:40 AM
hey hey, I'm from South Africa. I'm 16 years old. I am on a mission to find polymer clay, but I can't find any here in Cape Town [any help would be great].
I'm broke. I love making stuff. I have a deviant art: http://queengwen.deviantart.com Roll Eyes
I'm still a bit new to crafting in the context that I haven't made a lot of stuff yet since I'm broke and need moola TT__TT

anyhoo, I'd love it if any body here knows any places or South African sites that sells craft goods [including polymer clay] Wink
