21  Re: Star Trek Christmas Swap (sendout 9 Jan) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by LiveLongandCraft on: January 02, 2010 12:45:49 PM
I said I would post a pic of my new Star Trek tattoo, so that is what I am doing! It is really hard to get a pic of a tattoo on the top of your shoulder unless someone else is taking the pic, so this isn't the best picture ever. Also, you can see how it is red from just being done.

I received a wonderful package yesterday! My can was squished to death but none on the innards were harmed, lol.

Pretty ornaments

Awesome pouch with zipper

Very cute scrabble tile pendants

Fun tie dye scarf and beautiful asian characters painted on a fabric square (it is folded in half, the characters are on the other side too.)

I loved everything! Thanks so much for everything.

24  Captain Kirk Pumpkin!!! in Halloween Decor and Parties by LiveLongandCraft on: October 24, 2009 10:13:11 PM
My friend put together a girl's night and we all carved pumpkins. Being the trekkie of the group, I decide to carve Captain Kirk (as portrayed by the great William Shatner.) I was happy with how he came out because I really didn't think I would be able to carve his image that well. On to the pic...

Finally found my camera! Yay!

Here are the wonderful goodies I received from Radmom.

Cool Insignia cloths

Insignia pillow

Kirk painting and a book which I believe is Kirk's log.

Inside the book are earrings, a laser pointer thingie, and a really cool thing that has Captain Kirk's voice recorded.

27  *MATURE* Monsieur Winky in Needlework: Completed Projects by LiveLongandCraft on: July 27, 2009 11:32:36 PM
Okay, here is my latest project. I love cross stitch but I have not done a lot of cross stitching so it is far from perfect. I wanted to do something that would make me laugh every time I looked at it, so Monsieur Winky was born (I am immature sometimes  Smiley )

Here he is in his frame that I found at Goodwill. I am thinking about spray painting the frame black but I am not sure. Also, do you think he needs a border around him? And yes, he does have a monocle and a mustache.

28  Re: Comics and Graphic Novels Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by LiveLongandCraft on: July 23, 2009 06:41:57 PM
Okay, time to post pics. I have had my package a couple of days but I just finally was able to get pics taken and uploaded.

First, here is my awesome Superhero Kit. This includes my choice of antennae and a pocket mustache. I am able to pull the mustache from my jacket and use it in case a quick disguise is needed.

Next up is my wonderful Tick notebook. Now I can write down my ideas in style!

I also received wonderful comic book style address labels and comic book style earrings! I tried to get a closer pic of the earrings but I kept getting fuzzy pictures.

Here are some really cool Watchmen promotional items. There is a sticker, coaster, magnet, and.....

Yes, your eyes are working! It is what you think it is!

I love everything! I think my favorites are the blue Tick antennae and the Tick notebook. The earrings really rock too. Oh, I just love it all  Grin

Thanks so much, raeraethejetplane!

A very cool Spock tote bag!

And probably my favorite thing, although it is hard to choose a favorite since everything is so awesome.
