1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Leopard/Teal Punk Rock Skirt with an "Adicts" Patch on: March 09, 2010 10:09:04 PM
Hey all. I haven't posted in FOREVER. I'm sorry. I fixed my room mate's sewing machine and we are working on collectively making an Etsy business that is not yet up and running. I'm just making stuff right now, and here is my first piece of clothing since leaving my sewing machine 3,000 miles away two years ago.

The front and back panel are non stretchy leopard print, while the side panels and waist band are stretchy teal fabric. The zipper is functional, though I didn't cut under neath it. It's up to the future owner to decide if that's what they want.

Sorry for the poor quality pictures.

2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Vintage Kenmore E-6354 (supposed to be from 1946) on: June 28, 2009 10:06:21 PM
We found a working kenmore e-6356, without a bobbin.

It looks like this:

I can't seem to find a manual for it anywhere online, either. It's not surprising due to it's age I guess! Do you guys know anything about this machine?

3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Two Steampunk watch part necklaces by Zombie Teeth, *image well fed.* on: December 21, 2008 07:07:22 PM
These are made from watch parts  that I got from a local watch mechanic. He gave me all the parts for free. I'm surprised, he looked at me quite funny when I asked. There are also found objects like keys and teeth.

These are "holiday" gifts. I don't celebrate any of that mass consumerism BS so I made these for my boss and best friend.

and modeling them:

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Steampunk goggles.. from your favorite rare poster Zombie Teeth! on: September 14, 2008 10:40:37 PM
So I haven't posted in AGES. AGES! Well, this morning I woke up at 8:30 am and had a plan of action before work at noon. I got these goggles for free from my work since they were damaged. They were plastic, silver, and kind of weird.

A lot of gold paint and watch parts later:

5  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Zombie Teeth is back with... PRINCESS MONONOKE. Yep! on: November 04, 2007 01:14:06 PM
I'm such a dormant jerk.. but I'm back and lazier than ever.. with more tattoos and piercings to boot Tongue

The dress is reconstructed, with a cut up tea dyed shirt over it, the boots are just fabric and t-shirt material.. the cape/fur is white faux fur, lined with the same thing, with cardboard mask/ears. Took me a while... but I did it. I also made sculpey bones for the necklace/ earrings.

6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Graffiti swap. on: April 05, 2007 12:02:23 PM

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Leopard Print Moto Jacket! Another punk rock piece from Zombie-Teeth! :) on: May 14, 2006 09:16:39 PM
More leopard print? I know, I know! I'm crazy.

I picked up this (originally) size 10 jacket at the local thrift for $4.75. The fabric is LEOPARD DENIM! I knew it was destined for better things, especially because of the fantastic collar. Now it's a size XS with a zipper. I had to lengthen the sleeves, too.

Forgive the pictures, for my flash is weird.

The back. Note, the collar is popped, and there's a bit of fuzz on it, too. Haha. Oops.

I'm so fly.

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Punk Rock Prom dress! Leopard print swing/50's style. By Zombie Teeth! on: May 03, 2006 04:22:42 PM
Finally, I made something! Well, my prom is the 13th, so I needed to make a dress. I made it in 5-6 hours today, I honestly don't know. I don't know why I'm going either, I'm not going with my boyfriend, just alone. I told him not to go Tongue

I got the fabric at joanns on sale. It's black and grey/white leopard print.

I used Burda pattern 8174, though I did my own thing after I got the basics together, like the corset lacing in the back.

9  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Washing a 100% Acrylic sweater? on: January 16, 2006 12:48:03 PM
I bought a sweater from Forever21...

and it's getting kinda gross and furry stretched out. How the hell do I wash it? I can't dry clean it, and hand washing.. ick.
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Zebra purse with flap, yay punk rock! By (the super lazy) Zombie Teeth! on: January 11, 2006 03:55:01 PM
Hello all! I've been so lethargic lately, I haven't been making anything. Anyway, inspired by the fact that I'm going to boston this Sunday for my birthday (January 15th, Zombie Teeth turns 18, mark your calanders! Wink ), I decided that I needed a new bag. I went to joanns, which I've been avoiding since I quit, and bought two yards of black and white zebra print. I'll use it for other things. Anyway, it's just a basic box shaped purse with a flap and a pocket on the inside. Here are pics!

Me posing with my bag... my face looks like that all the time. Really.

My chair modelling my bag..

My mirror modelling it..

The pins on it, one for The Buzzcocks, Jonee Earthquake Band, and parody MTV, money television pin. Also, a large square pin from a block party that occured up here.

Inside of bag, with random school junk, and pocket. Notice my ZEBRA PRINT IPOD! Oh yes, I do love me some zebra print.

Sorry for being dormant to all of the people who consider themselves fans of my silly work! Tongue
