I received from audio today. This is so  cool! I can't wait to hang it up. We need to remind ourselves to look within for inspiration from time to time.

Thanks audio! The colors are so vibrant they are inspiring in themselves.

I received from EllaRain and I'm so happy! Meet Esmeralda, my newest little friend:

She's adorable, and so detailed for something so small. I love her tiny cape and hat, and her little pink tail. *squee*

She even has a little broom for her midnight rides!

Thanks, EllaRain for a fantastic swap!

I got my package from RaraAvis yesterday and boy oh boy my Halloween just went through the stratosphere! Y'all gotta see this!

First up, an embarrassment of riches with candy, gum, decorations, glow in the dark bracelets, a pumpkin flashlight, balloons, skull and bat accent pieces, a Skelly pendant and skull beads.

And it all came in this Halloween tote bag that's a true work of art! The colors are so much more vibrant in person you can't even believe.

This little skeleton shadow box is so amazing! It's got its bucket of friends all ready to go.

A cadre of scary monsters! And a skeleton pendant (on the left).

But this is the greatest thing I've ever seen, a needle felted mouse witch!

Words can't describe how thrilled I am with her. I have a long and storied love of mice, and this sassy little girl made me cry I was so happy to see her. Look at her sweet little copper paws, and the tiny pumpkin and broom. Thank you so much, RaraAvis, this is all beyond awesome. I'm over the moon and in awe of your skills.

5  Halloween Cross Stitch Cat in Needlework: Completed Projects by Mellius01 on: September 28, 2018 06:17:21 PM
I made this for my partner in the Vintage Halloween Swap. Her decor is mid-century modern. I'm very proud of how this turned out.

I received my package from rockingbearranch today and, man, what a haul. Check this out.

There's a snazzy orange and black striped towel, a painted Jack o'lantern cup, a pumpkin headed girl embroidery, a beaded Jack o'lantern, a little jeweled Jack iron on, a package of pop rocks, a set of goofy glasses, a cute card, and a set of sparkly foam spiders, skulls, and bats (not pictured).

Take a look at this jack o'lantern cup. I love that surprised expression. The panting makes it look like an antique. It's so cool!

A beaded Jack o'lantern. You can see all the work that went into it. It could be used as a trivet but I'm going to use it as a decoration. :-)

This is my favorite. This little pumpkin headed girl. I'm a sucker for pumpkin headed figures and I've been wanting something just like this since I saw them on the forums here. I love her little skirt. Such intricate stitching on this.

Thanks for everything, rockingbearranch. It's going to be a happy Halloween indeed!

I received a package from Pottermouth today that thrilled me to my toes! She discovered my love of octopi and Krakens and used my blue/green color combinations to create the following works of art:

An octopus hoop with beautifully stitched needlework and and a subtle watercolor effect. The colors flow so well with the stitching.

A super soft shawl with a blue/green colorway. The length and weight are perfect for this area.

I don't know how she did the work but this tiny undersea scene is perfect. Just awesome!

And this Kraken pincushion is just the bomb! He's going to love the thicket of needles I plan to plant around him.  Smiley I don't know if y'all can see it in the picture but he has an expression that says he means business.

And if all that wasn't an embarrassment of riches... Extras! A Caron cake, a bag of buttons and more thread to make more stuff!

You're just wonderful, Pottermouth. Thank you so much!

Yay! I'm the first to receive!

I got a wonderful package from LadybugsAndBumblebees today and I'm excited to share it. There are many pictures so be prepared.

First thing, I open the box and I'm greeted by this:

Everything was wrapped so neatly and so colorfully.

I asked for a ton of different things and she tried to do them all. A dishtowel, for example, with a lovely crocheted hanger:

Dishcloths:

Coasters:

I love the beading on the edges.

A colorful spring scarf (this one had the beaded edges too, very pretty!):

Some awesome handmade rainbow colored stationery with a stripey book mark:

I love the texture of the paper.

And then as if all that rainbowy goodness wasn't enough... Extras!

Notecards, rainbow stickers, tangerine lip balm, and sticky notes.

Thanks for your generosity and thoughtfulness, LadybugsAndBumblebees, you make me feel like spring is finally here!
