11  Re: 2010 Advent Calendar Swap. in The Swap Gallery by princessblueberry on: November 15, 2010 05:35:58 PM
Ok, Here is my spot...

Received today and have swap anxiety big time from just looking at her wrapping job!!!  I cleared off the top of the book shelf next to my couch, so they would be in view but out of the reach of the tiny minions...one of which grabbed the awesome soda bottle apple and declared 'an apple, this is MINE!'...my pie rack is helping display them...

And the extras...

My son grabbed the buttons declaring 'a treat for me!' so that is the purple confetti you see everywhere...and ornament, journal, note pad, gift tags, cherry iorn on transfer, an awesome scarf, rinestone stickers, stickers, a bunch of pendants and more!  Baby girl foot at the bottom and son at the top of picture...

#1...advent calendar

#2...a madona & child box for my advent calendar

my little elf before I opened!
showing off the box...of course my daughter tried to eat it and my son had his screw driver in most of the pictures trying to fix it...

*Sorry for the giant pictures!  These are the only copies and I'm afraid to resize them...lost the originals when the phone deleted before importing to computer and did not want to wait any longer to post pictures...I'll have things to say too with each but this is already my 3rd attempt at posting them...*

My son loves these!!!  They adorn the tree and he ask to play with the aligator every day!!

#11 The box is todays present I just thought it was perfect that I had made the hair clip the day before and it matched perfectly!!! Making the perfect christmas photo of my mom!!!

*Gah! Trying to figure a few things out missing some photos after loosing 2 months worth of photos*

#25 Oh My!  An felt, child safe and totally awesome nativity set!

Thank You Annchen!

Candy goodies, tea pearls, and a box for my advent calendar!  Hubby loved the licorice and I loved the monkey candy...chocolate is waiting for when I can have milk again.  Thank you for something to look forward to!  (Baby girl is allergic to milk and so it is nice to have something special to look forward to when I'm done nursing.  I've gone from focusing on what I can't have as I watch people eat it to looking forward to what I can have come February.  I'm excited!  Thank You!  LOL, hubby would have tried to run off with the caramel one so he does not even get to see them  Wink  )

Thank You Annchen!  I LOVE it!

For the life I me I can't figure out what the small item was they all look like mediums and larges  Cheesy  A beanie/hat, socks/slipers, and a diaper bag.  Thank you!

Ahna Bug and her loot!

Closer head shot...

Total cupcake action!

Diaper bag!

I absolutely love everything!  Thank you mymymissmai!  The diaper bag will be my new short outing bag...had been using small reusable shopping bags but this is perfect! Beanie is totally awesome!  It fits her now and when brother stole it, it fit his 2 1/2 year old head too so I know it will fit her for a good long while, especially with her being smaller than him.  LOL, much to my husband's dismay...LOL...he looked at me and said 'No, no, NO!  No you did not!'  One of these days I'll have to get a picture with her and I in our crafterster swag.  I have a tree scarf and crochet tree wristlets that he still thinks I crazy for wearing, I just tell him 'you are a guy. you are not suposed to understand'  Cousin, 3 months younger than Ahna, may even get pictures wearing the hat too...

Socks are adorable, she keept playing with them Cheesy they match several of her boutique dresse...

I'm signing up!!!  I started collecting boxes for my advent calendar (both through swaps here and making them myself like 4 years ago) and now that my oldest wil be almost three this Christmas I'm hoping to have a finished set this year so I can start using them...I've only got 6 more to make before Christmas...

Each one has a different nativity scene or picture of Madona & Child...they range in size of a postage stamp to 8x8inches...a peak at some of the craftster portion of my calendar box collection:

Thank You trix_ska!

Crafted bento goods:
furoshiki & ice pack cover

Bought goodies:
sandwich shaped lunchbox, blue container, 3 mini containers, sandwich cutter, green chili powder, hummus mix

soap & lotion

lunch time

action shot

dessert, home made whole wheat animal crackers

And here are a few shot of duplicates I have that my partner did not have pics of...

the napkins were actually furoshiki...there were 4 furoshiki that were double sided & 2 napkins that were surged, she has the white container and the pink is mine

lunch cube...pink muffin cups are mine, her flower and butterfly ones are blue to match her furoshiki & lunch bag, heart ones were red and the normal round were green and red.

And since single serving is great for bentos here are the recipes for the single serving brownie:
and Cupcake:
that I did up for my partner.  The gal also has SS fruit crisp & muffin recipes on her blog and you can find them under recipes tab, go down to S for single serving...

20  Re: Christmas Stocking Swap 5 *-*-GALLERY-*-* in The Swap Gallery by princessblueberry on: January 14, 2010 11:07:56 PM
Ok, so I'm a little late posting what was in my stocking...I posted everything else when it arived but have been having contractions since the day after Christmas...not getting squat done.  My partner sent me a stocking full of cotton yarn.  Five balls of patterned cotton yarn to be exact.  Which was on my list so I could make bibs and that is what I have been doing to help with the contractions.  Lost the pic of the yarn but here are the 16 out of the 17 bibs I made with the yarn she sent and then bibs with the stocking.  Any plain yarns were from my stash or picked up the day after Christmas on clearance :-)

middle row the orange bib on the left has a twin that was already given away to a lady from playgroup that just had a baby girl.  These are only the ones I've made with the yarn she sent, nearly 30 made since Christmas.  It has been a sanity saver and the only thing keeping me calm through the contractions.  I swear this girl will be born with her mother crocheting at this rate...LOL!   I wish I'd had this much variety in yarns when I was making the bib for her little one...these are so much cooler than the one's I was making...off white, since I had a giant ball of it, with colored trim if they were lucky...most were plain.

thanks again missapril

And I'm rambling so I'm going to say good night!
