and as far as buying some things at these craft stores goes, if you ever want to buy Swarovski crystals, do NOT buy them from a place like Michaels or A.C. Moore.  they charge way too much for too little.  get them from somewhere online like Fire Mountain Gems.
I so would but, I do not have a credit card or a bank account. We had to close our bank account because of someone writing checks on it from the bank and I wont set up another one till that all gets fixed. Which means I buy them from Hobby Lobby because instead of paying 7.99 from Michaels  I pay 5.99 for the same thing. Which is only 2 bucks but hey it is 2 bucks lol.

you could probably use those gift cards that you find at banks.  they work like credit cards, so I don't see why they wouldn't work if you really wanted to.

I just remember needing light rose crystals, so when I saw them at Michaels, I figured I would grab them.  but when I saw it was 2 - 3 dollars more for 2 more crystals than what you get from FMG, I changed my mind.  I made something else.

plus, the more you buy, the more you save.  Grin  I saved about $30 on my last order.  only paid $50 instead of $80.
They charge you 4 dollars a month or more. I have one and it takes more money in those hidden fees then I would like to spend. I like those visa gift cards that don't have those crazy hidden fees but, I can't find them anymore.

really?Huh?  as far as I know, that's [Visa gift cards] the only kind my bank has.  I had one card for like...3 months without spending anything on it and the amount never changed.  that sounds like a crappy deal.  Sad

I think I fixed the machine, might've been operator error, but I shifted some buttons/dials and it works! Yay! I feel SO much more relaxed now, lol!

yup.  operator error.  it'll get ya every time.  I had the same thing happen to me too.  the operator had no idea what she was doing.  but after getting some help (and having a HUGE "duh" moment) I can expand on my creations.  yay!

I'm so glad you like everything.  I will have you know you robbed me of those colors of Swarovski crystals.   Wink  it's a good thing I ordered more.

and you got a few soups there.  I put like beads together, but the colors were mixed.  so you got to sort something.  Wink

I FINALLY quit procrastinating and did ONE of the larges for my swaps...and it was this swap.  I don't know if I will EVER make another one of those again...at least not the way I made this one.  just to give you a hint in its general direction, it was something sewn.  issue number one: as I was sewing, I thought I went over a pin...turns out my machine decided it wanted to try to go THROUGH the pin.  it then got stuck in my machine and I almost ripped the project trying to get it out because, oh yes, the pin was still in the fabric.  just as I finally got it out (by using a pair of pliers and wire cutters), the foot fell off.  10 minutes later, I was back to sewing.  what a pain!  but, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.  and I now need a new bottle of thread check.

I think I'm done.  I still have a couple more days to make a final decision on that though...

and make that 15 so far...

it says my partner's boxes have arrived!

there may not be quite as many beads as what I've been seeing, but look at it this way...you've got a great mix between your partners.  Smiley
