381  do you know how much I love The Little Mermaid? in Beads: Completed Projects by Krafty_Karasu on: June 21, 2008 08:26:45 PM
no?  well, let me show you then...

a lot of screaming and yelling went into the making of this piece.  it was my very first attempt at creating something like this.  I'm pretty happy with how she turned out.  Smiley

382  beaded steer skulls in Beads: Completed Projects by Krafty_Karasu on: June 21, 2008 08:21:44 PM
I was inspired by a woman who won a contest for a jewelry supply company I buy from.  hers was done on a life sized skull.  my skulls, are on a MUCH smaller scale.   Tongue

this is the first one I ever made.  it was a present to my dad for Father's Day.  I was new to this idea, so it's a pretty simple design.

tell me what you think!  I have one more skull left and I'm always looking on eBay for more.  I'm addicted to this stuff!!!

383  Peachy Keen (updated with a picture!) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Krafty_Karasu on: June 20, 2008 09:04:38 PM
Last month was my cousin's wedding.  My mom wanted to wear this really pretty peach dress, but the only jewelry she felt she had to go with it were stark white pearls.  This was NOT acceptable to me, so I made her a set to go perfectly with her dress.

Everyone loved it, especially my mom.  Enjoy!

384  beaded Nintendo characters (first post) updated with pictures! in Beads: Completed Projects by Krafty_Karasu on: June 20, 2008 08:57:47 PM
Hello all.  I am new to the site, though I've been lurking as a guest for a while.  I have really been inspired by what I have seen.  A friend of mine is a member here, and some of her projects inspired what I'm about to post.  The following pictures are little beaded squares I made from game sprites.  I only have these 2 right now, but I'll be making more.  And do take note, they were made entirely out of size 11/0 Delica seed beads (they're really small and can be a pain to work with on projects like this).

This is Tanooki Mario from Super Mario Bros. 3

If you've played the game, you know that to avoid being hurt by an enemy, Tanooki can turn into this statue

These took me quite a while to complete.  I hope you like!  And please, be gentle.   Smiley
