21  Nora The Hamster, Testers Found, Thankies! in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by EssHaych on: November 23, 2009 01:27:17 PM
*Thank you once again to all my lovely testers, I really appreciate it!*

Hi again!  Grin

I need some testers for a new ami! This one is called Nora, and she's a 13cm tall hamster. I made her in memory of my own hamster Nora who sadly passed away the other week Sad

It's a pretty simple pattern, only needing the basic crochet stitches.

If anyone would like to test of me please PM me and I can send you the pattern either by email or PM.

Thank You!  Grin

I recieved from Myklia! Thank you very much, I love my GD's!

I forgot to take a picture of the GD's before I started using them lol, so here they are plus a square I've made out of the red and yellow ones for the charity Knit-A-Square Smiley

I'm not too sure what I'm gonna make with all my GD's yet, so for now I'm just saving them up until I decided on something Grin

25  Rene The Western Kokeshi Doll in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by EssHaych on: August 26, 2009 12:38:22 PM

Just wanted to share this doll I made, she's called Rene and she's a variation on a crocheted kokeshi doll. I love making Kokeshie dolls, and yesterday came up with the idea of doing them a bit differently by adding different hair styles and hats!

I gave her a little black beret and sewed on a rose shaped button for decoration. I'm happy with the way she turned out!

I plan on making more; with different hair and hats lol

Thanks for looking! Grin

EDIT: Big *hugs* to all my lovely testers!! I now have enough, Thank You!  Grin

Hi again!
I need a few more testers! This time for my bunny ami, Petal Grin She's a bit of a moody character!

She is about 6'' tall (when using a 3.5mm hook) and takes about 2 hours to make. Though I'm allowing 2 weeks for her to be completed Smiley The pattern includes the little flower by her ear.

If you'd like to help me out please PM me and I'll send you the pattern!

Thank You!

28  Muzzy The Flumpelbee! (4 Pics) in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by EssHaych on: July 29, 2009 08:19:20 AM
I was freeform crocheting the other evening, and decided to improvise a fairy type creature. The result was Muzzy, the Flumpelbee! He stands (or sits!) at about 6.5'' tall, made with double knit yarn and a 3.25mm hook. He has little wire wings, which I made from craft wire and sewed to his back. I'm really happy with the way he turned out!

All c&c welcome! Cheesy

29  Sam The Teddy Ami - TESTERS FOUND, THANK YOU! in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by EssHaych on: June 27, 2009 01:11:26 PM
Thank you to all the people that have offered to test for me, I now have enough testers! Thankies!

I'm once again looking for testers for one of my amigurumi patterns, this time it's for Sam the Teddy Bear Cheesy He stands at approx. 14cm's tall, when using a 3.5mm (US size E) hook, and took me a couple of hours to crochet. I'm allowing 2 weeks to finish him though, so there's no hurry!

The only stitches you will need to know for this pattern are single crochet, chain stitch, slip stitch, increase and decrease.

If you're interested in testing for me please PM me and I'll send you the pattern! Thank You! Grin

3rd June
Walter arrives on 3rd June, and was a bit shy; he didn't want to leave his envelope!

But as he was hungry, we coaxed him out with some of my Mums birthday cake and a glass of coke!

5th June

I introduced Walter to my pet hamster Nora today, I think they like each other!

8th June

Walter and I were gonna go to London today, but it's been postponed 'till a later date Smiley Instead, we spent a nice day at home crocheting! Walter was a great help to me whilst I was working on my latest project!

Later on we decided to check out Craftster. He enjoyed seeing everyone's adventures!

12th June

Mini shopping trip today looking for garden furniture and hoilday clothes. This is Walter on the way to the shops in our car...

Walter and I checked out some cool socks; he said he liked the panda ones best!

Finally we stopped at B&Q. Walter helped us look for garden chairs. This was his favourite one. He said it was comfy!

14th June

Today we went for a walk around Langdon Hills, which is a massive park with woodlands and stuff.

This is Walter outside the park

Langdon Hills has some great views out over the Thames Estuary....

We saw some local wildlife, including lots of rabbits!

And a snake! No need to worry though; it's only made of wood!
