So after looking around craftster for a while and I got up the nerve to make an account and post some of my stuff (I mainly do cards, clothes and jewellery).
A few burns later, here are two of my most recent projects: the soldered (double sided) microscope slide necklaces. I bought a soldering iron (with copper tape and lead free rosin core solder included) at Michaels for like $15 and got the microscope slides (40 for $5) at a science store; still have to learn how to use my glass cutter though... Anyways, First is my
Firefly/Serenity necklace which I made for myself for the Toronto 'Can't Stop the Serenity' screening. One side says "May have been the losing side, still not sure it was the wrong one. Browncoats" and the other says "Shiny lets be badguys". The second necklace (featuring a map and some flowered scrapbook paper) was a present for my friend's birthday (alongside a group present of two Eagles tickets).
So what do you think?

And whats a birthday present without a card? (The 'E' is for Elspeth) and I stamped the envelope with the words: "Who, What Where, When".

A bit of a weird reflection coming off the red chair...

And then I made it all clean and shiny and put it in a mock Chinese food box.

Thanks for stopping by!
