OOoooohhhh...my... goodness. This post makes me think that my two favorite simple sweets married and had a glorious child. I must try this! Awesome job on the piping too!

Looks great, did you work from a tutorial or a pattern?

I love the colour

Thanks! I used the tutorial that's floating around here in Craftster. The jersey was 150cm wide and I used two pieces sized 110*105cm.
I'm 164cm tall and it gave me a dress that comes just under the knee on the front.

Could you link to the tutorial? I searched, but it didn't show up... The color is definitely amazing!

I LOVE it! I saw a similar dress to this the other day, but with a strapless sweetheart neckline, I like this one better because the V and the little buttons in the back! You have definitely inspired me, and I want to wear a dress like this for my wedding next year, it's very Audrey Hepburn! Now I just need to find someone to sew it for me... Great job! Grin

I like it, especially with those shoes. The only "tacky" thing about it would be the waistband for the skirt makes it obvious they're separates, but you could break up the color and fix that problem with a chunky belt tight around your waist, then I think it would be perfect! Wink Did you design the pattern for your skirt?
