Finally got the hideous 70's herculon chairs done.  Gone from Junky to Swanky and modern, looking good with the tripod lamp.

this is a lamp I made from an old telescope tripod found at a garage sale for $3.00 and a garage sale shade.

Oh and the chairs are my next project, just looking for the perfect fabric.

I couldn't help myself, thinking about making these kept me awake at night.  The first one is made from a wild looking orange/yellow/purple stripes..the other one is a very subltle tone on tone dupioni silk stripe.  Love them...

Ok, so I had this chair and it looked kind of like this:

Boring, faux leather, mine was clawed by cats.  I also have a son-in-law who loves the Denver Broncos, Voila, Bronco chair:

I don't care about the Broncos one way or another, but I do think the chair came out awesome.

This bag is made from an old Elvis Tshirt, lined with cute Elvis fabric.  Its about 15" tall and 10' in diameter. I would love some feed back.  Thanks, Y'all
