1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Big Hoops (Bigger the better) on: July 03, 2012 05:13:16 PM
I had the urge to recreate a pair of earrings I seen Nelly Furtado wear in her music video for 'Big Hoops'...
I can't actually tell what they are made of, maybe polymer, maybe clay, maybe even paper...

Here is a still of her with the originals on...

I know that they aren't perfect not even identical to each other, but neither are the ones she is wearing and i like that, so unique - an odd pair?

It was quite easy and fun to make.

cute! is it heavy with the clay?

Once u 'cook' the fimo its much lighter - tho it is a little front heavy but it does still stand without falling over.

When i gave it to her she said thats really unusual so i think thats a good thing Smiley

I work in the language dept of a school and they gave me a late box of chocs for xmas, so instead of just getting them more chocs - I made them this card:

The letters are actually made of fimo and are more raised than it looks in the picture.
