1  Re: Frugal Living 3: Have Yourself a Frugal Little Christmas Gallery in The Swap Gallery by quaisior on: November 16, 2010 09:09:28 PM
Thank you so much yzzilnoaj for all of the fantastic crafty goodness you sent to me. There was so much stuff, I had to break it up into multiple pictures. (Sorry about the picture quality, I'm not on the best of terms with my camera).

There are two t-shirt bags and two small cloth bags here, one with a glittery snowflake on it.

Next, these are gift bags made out of newspaper and those are cloth napkins on the side.

Wow, eight cloth pads plus extra inserts! I was seriously in need of these because my old ones are worn and I need to retire a few.

These bows are my favorite! The gift tags are great too and the card is so pretty.

And I had to post a close-up picture of the clever magazine and catalog bows.

Pictures of the lovely amis and extras from McBec and her dolls:

Two of my many dolls, Logan (the Blythe) and Violeta (the Pullip), hanging out with their new friends. And OMG, I had the wrap-around skirt on my Wist and didn't even realize McBec was the Etsy crafter who made those skirts. Tongue I figured since Ginny loves the color purple and Vi loves lambs, they are a match made in heaven.

All of the amis together: there's Mr. Crumedgon S'More, Alvin & Lil Tuck the owls, and Ginny the lamb.

Alvin and Lil Tuck together. These guys are so cute and fuzzy. I took them to show my mom and she almost stole them so I found the pattern and will be making her some too.  Grin

S'More and Ginny. The S'More is so soft that I want to cuddle with him all the time. Ginny is awesome and has inspired me to try making crochet cotton amis. Thank you so much McBec, I love everything and I love the stories you wrote to go along with everyone too.

I'm finally posting my pictures. I've had computer and camera problems and a spouse who's never home to either fix my computer or upload the pictures to his Mac, so I made him go to bed late tonight so he could help me.

Thank you so much, Craft the World. I love everything! I'm a huge Hello Kitty/Sanrio fan and have a small collection of Hello Kitty plushies, so she fits in perfectly with my "family." The shrink plastic Keroppi and Chococat jewelry is so cute and creative (and it's totally making me want to experiment with shrink art). The beads on the bookmark are fantastic and I collect bookmarks too.  Wink The extra-large tea ball is perfect for some of my loose teas that bloom quite a bit and the Hello Kitty charm on it makes tea even more comforting and fun. And OMG, I love Mighty Leaf teas so thank you so much for sending some. As you can see, one didn't even make it into the picture because I drank it right away.  Grin

Here's an extra shot of Hello Kitty cuddling with my newest Pullip.

And here's a picture of the package I sent to Craft the World- she's having camera issues.

4  Re: We Love our Blythes and Pullips Swap Round 7 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by quaisior on: July 20, 2009 01:09:42 PM

I hope this works. Thank you Maldania for the lovely gifts. From left to right: Alia is wearing a black, red, and yellow/orange print sundress (which I think can double as a skirt on my not so skinny girls), Violeta is wearing a purple beaded headband- which kind of blends in with her hair, Kirsty is wearing a cute Empire waist dress and beaded headband that matches (unfortunately, the cute purple bead is not visible in this photo though), and Rowan is wearing another sundress and black beaded headband. Also included were tiny hair clips, which all of my girls need and chocolate, which I've been needing this rainy, depressing summer. Thank you so much!

Also, I'm glad you liked all of the stuff I sent you Maldania. I'm glad I captured your girls' personalities so well. It was so much fun crafting for them and now I have to make one of everything for my girls too. :-D I'm glad you liked the matchbox dresser; I saw them on Creative Juice a while ago and I've fallen in love with making them.

5  Re: We Love our Blythes and Pullips Swap Round 7 (signups end 6/10) (send by 7/13) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by quaisior on: June 09, 2009 12:03:01 PM
Here's a picture of all five of my Pullips (my Withered, Rowan, is in the picture too even though I didn't include her in my questionnaire, since she's a type 1 and I don't know how many other people here would also have a type 1).

From left to right: Raven, Rowan, Kirsty, Alia, and Violeta

I also have two Dals, two Taeyangs, and four (five, including my spouse's Aggonya) Little Pullips, but since they aren't in my questionnaire either, I didn't have any pics of them.
