1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: My Prom Dress, Finished the morning of prom :) Extra pics page 7 on: August 20, 2008 03:47:53 PM
Oh my god, that is stunning. I wish I had known how to sew for my prom. Amazing work!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: are you sick of me yet?? more jersey dresses - img. hvy. on: August 20, 2008 03:27:05 PM
I'm proclaiming my love right now. I've also been eating away at Wal-Mart jersey fabric like mad, I just haven't had my digital camera to show off.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: geek cred on: August 20, 2008 03:21:34 PM
You get some kickass geek cred from me.  The shirt's great, but I could write nerdy love sonnets about that hat. Nice work!
4  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Christian louboutins... or are they? on: July 22, 2008 06:47:38 PM
This is brilliant! If I saw you wearing these at school I would definitely think you must be a trust fund kid, they look so authentic.  Wink Hmmm, maybe I should give this a try...
5  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Face it, Tiger, you just hit the [shoe] jackpot! *With Pictures, of course* on: July 22, 2008 06:43:09 PM
love it! did you have to scuff up the shoes before you decoupaged them?

No, the surface was smooth enough that I didn't have to. I would probably have to work some voodoo on cloth based shoes, but the vinyl worked really well.
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Wire Tree! *With photos* on: July 22, 2008 07:37:41 AM
I honestly had no idea where to put this.
I found some old craft wire, and I kind of just started playing with it until it became something... which turned out to be a tree. I then put some beads on for leaves, and made a tiny bird nest. I think it's cute, but you tell me what you think.  Smiley

Overhead shots (sorry about the quality, my camera is very lame)-

Side shots (With my sewing machine whimpering in the background)-

The bottom is a mod podged film canister- I used "Birches" by Robert Frost because I'm a total English nerd.
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Rainforest Crafts! Tutorials for Flowers, Butterfly (MANY PICTURES) on: July 21, 2008 03:56:20 PM
Oh my goodness, those flowers are perfect! I've been trying to figure out what to do with all of the stupid wire hangers I get when I get costumes from work, and this is perfect. (It makes me angry the way Disney goes through the stupid things, because most people just trash them.  Cry)
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Wine bottle cork earrings on: July 11, 2008 09:09:07 PM
They sort of remind me of Luna Lovegood.  Grin Very unique, I like the idea.
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: My paper bead necklace (4 pics) on: July 11, 2008 09:07:05 PM
Looking at this was like biting into a tea-soaked Madeleine! All the memories I have of making paper beads in grade school... I had a whole kit. I might have to give it a fresh go.
10  Florida / Florida: Central / Re: Any crafters in Kissimmee/Osceola County on: July 11, 2008 08:48:07 PM
That would be me, as well, although I'm in St. Cloud.  Smiley
