Beautiful. I especially love that at first glance, it makes bush look like a dragqueen clown.  Wink

5  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / One Mink, Old Mink, Sad Mink, Sewable Mink? on: November 04, 2004 01:54:51 PM
I recently inherited a mink lined raincoat.

I hate this whole killing animals thing too, but this is old and my dad wants me to keep it.

The issue with old furs is that they dry out and then they cannot be changed too much.

So I want to make a little throw with it to bring to friend's houses so I don't pass out on cold ground!

But, since it's old, I don't know about trying because it will destroy it. I will never wear it, neither will anyone I know.

I do feel I could sell it for maybe $100, $150, and I do need the money currently, but my dad "needs" the coat in the family.

Any tips?

6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Tell me what you think-my new site: theplaidroom.com on: October 23, 2004 12:35:31 PM
I love the site. I saw the Vintage Rose Handbag and now I am actually crying. Why?

My parents don't want me ordering things online "right now."

I love that bag.

Keep up the good work.

I think I love you...

I've got the perfect stuff. Seeing as my parents are not fans of this stuff, however, we shall see.

Wish I had a P.O. box.
10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / How many good things can you fit in... on: October 20, 2004 11:21:17 AM
I have no way to organize this, but I think it would be funky to have a swap where you have a certain object that all the goodies have to fit in... Like a soda can or a  box for a certain product...  Undecided
