This sounds/looks DELICIOUS! I'd love to try it out, but I honestly don't know if I'll have time this week to cook. If I do, I'll be sure and leave comments!
3  Arizona / Arizona: Central / Any Sort of Craft Fair/Event in Phoenix or Surrounding Cities? on: January 18, 2010 01:55:57 PM
Are there any craft shows or craft events coming up any time soon in the Phoenix area? What about craft sales? Is there any website or forum or anything like that that would have that info?

Also! If you sell your items at different events or festivals, can you tell me which ones? I've done Glendale Giltters before, but that's it.

As a reference point, I sell ladies & girls headbands, pins & hair accessories.

I know you explained it, but is there ANY hope of getting a picture tutorial for the flowers? They are EXACTLY what I've been looking for! If you don't have time for a picture tutorial, NO worries!  Grin
5  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Need Fabric Flower Help! on: September 30, 2009 11:35:12 PM
Actually, those aren't mine, those are what I'm trying to make.  Roll Eyes

I am just totally clueless and cannot figure out how to do it. I figured some of the sewing experts on here would be a good place to start asking.
6  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Need Fabric Flower Help! on: September 30, 2009 08:04:00 PM
I need some help figuring out how to make these fabric flowers.

It looks like maybe long pieces of fabric are sewn into tubes(?) and then....sewn to form the flower? But how do they look flat and a bit messy? I'm at a complete loss. ANY help is appreciated! Thank you in advance!

7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Flower hair clips -- with TUTORIAL! on: August 26, 2009 08:05:34 AM
I just went and bought 1/4 yd. of 15 diff fabrics to make these!

I've used one of those handheld lighters that you sort of hold like a gun and has a long barrel thing, and they work well, but I went and bought a heat tool like this http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat2907&PRODID=prd20134 and just put a small rock in the center of the petal to keep it from blowing away, and it works well because I don't have to worry about burning myself. I just put the petal on a piece of marble I had, then put the rock on the petal and heat away! Works really well!
