In the spirit of last months theme, I'm still making little stocking stuffers and ornaments (I have a rather large family, it makes more sense to just get them all out of the way now)

I made four ornaments, both for siblings of mine who plan to get married this year, and play makeup for my oldest niece. (It's really simple, just find some old makeup containers that are either empty or that you no longer use and fill them with nail polish... It takes a couple of days to dry/for the smell to go away, but the finished product is really nice.)

So without further ado, here are some pictures...

I plan on making a bunch of mini books in the courtesy of http://papernstitchblog.com/2008/12/22/charley-harper-notepad-tutorial/ today, so everyone's stocking stuffers can finally get off my to-do list.

I love how your salt dough plaques ended up. They are simply gorgeous, your mom will love them.

The Zipper brooches are also amazing, I've been wanting to make them for ages, but I can't quite get my mind around the concept.

And of course, those socks look so toasty and quite comfortable Smiley

Tonight, inspired by karin_'s post in the Sweat Shoppe Swap Round 22 ideas, I made my little brother a set of 8 apple key-board magnets.
He's a bit OCD about making sure every assignment and appointment date is on his white board calendar, and I thought that these magnets would be a great way for him to post little notes about certain days on the board to make them more recognizable.

They're pieces off an old apple keyboard, since we all own macs. I thought they were very appropriate. Smiley

Those coasters are simply sublime.

Inspired by all of the already wonderful gifts posted here, I whipped up a few quick stocking stuffers for friend's and family.

To start off with, for one of my best friends, a hardware/steampunk inspired bracelet.

She's very into bracelets (she wears about 20 on each arm) so I know she'll appreciate this.
For that same friend, I also made hanging beaded bobby-pins because of a discussion we had about them over Christmas break.
(they are for your hair)

For my lovely niece, I whipped up a burgundy finger-knit scarf, and a miniature one for the doll or stuffed animal that I'm planning on making her.

And finally, for one of my older sister's, I made a crystal heart necklace. She's always been one of my more favored sisters, and since she's getting married and moving away sometime after next Christmas, I wanted to make her something that would remind her of how much I love her and that I'll miss her even though I'm happy for her.

My digital camera died just as I went to upload the pictures... *smacks face with palm*
So instead, I uploaded the ones I took with my cellphone just so you can see how amazing my jar was.
Unfortunately, the picture of the stitch markers is on my camera. So I'll be editing this to include higher quality pictures later!

Thanks paintindiva for an amazing jar! Cheesy
