91  Polymer clay Lotus charm in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by LunaKitten on: October 16, 2008 02:51:02 PM
This is a recent charm I did for the witch/wiccan/pagan swap. I had such fun on that swap. And I love polymer clay. This one I used fine glitter on the top, and it did fine in the baking. I was worried it would burn, but the glitter and the jewel did fine! Enjoy, love to hear feedback!

94  Re: Witch/Wicca/Pagan Swap Round 8 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by LunaKitten on: October 12, 2008 09:02:46 AM
Here is the glorious bounty I got from Saturn!! It's very pic heavy, but it was an awesome package, and it really lifted my spirits when we came home to find it last night, so I wanted to try and do it justice. Here goes!

She used water elements to make me this beautiful pentacle wreath. The dried grasses are the sea oats that grow along the beaches in florida. She gathered them after the hurricanes blew them down. There are shells at the top as well! Its so beautiful I can't wait to hang it.

Here is a close up of the great shell alter cloth she included. The fabric is lovely!!!:

A shot of the shell offering bowl! She gathered most of the shells she used too! I think that makes it so special, all the time and energy that she used.:

These are the jingle shell witch runes she made me! She also included an instruction book. I am SUPER excited to try them, I have always wanted runes.:

This is a close up of the pretty faerie paper used on my Samhain gift, that I can't wait to open!:

Here's the card she sent along with the package (Great pic!) And some bonus glow in the dark nail polish, which honestly, who doesn't get excited about that!! Smiley :

A beautiful printed picture version of the Samhain ritual:

A hand painted Bast box! I LOVE this. It has a special space on my altar already!:

Here's a shot of the side of the box, and the Egyptian calander! Underneath is the book for the explinations for the Isis Oracle card set that she made a pretty cover for. It matches the cards fabric cover, and the lining of the box!:

And here's the oracle set!:

She spoiled me rotten. I hope she likes her package even half as much as I loved mine! Thank you SO much Saturn, you were a wonderful, and understanding swap partner. I couldn't have asked for a better one!

95  Re: Trick or Treat Altoid Tin Gallery in The Swap Gallery by LunaKitten on: October 11, 2008 03:38:41 PM
I got my tin from Phizzychick today! Excuse the massive amount of pictures, but I HAD to give this tin the justice it deserves... it's beautiful!

Here's the top, it's got a ton of beautiful beaded ribbons and such hanging off the side, one says trick or treat:

Here's a shot of the beautiful scroll work around the outside of the tin, and a better pictures of the hanging goodies:

Here's the inside of the top of the tin, it doesnt do justice to the wonderful textures that she managed!:

This is the inside of the bottom of the tin! Isn't she beautiful!!!!!!!:

And a shot of the back of the tin, it's just as great as the rest of it!:

Pumpkin stickers, ceramic moon and star magnets and a witchy magnet:

Felt pumpkin earrings!! They are soosooo cute!:

This great textured stone that was what was holding the wrappings together, I'm so attaching a necklace clasp to the ribbon, I think it might be my favorite goody!:

A little zombie/mummy guy (HOW DID YOU MAKE HIM HE'S ADORABLE!), a spider paperclip, and spooky pocket notes that I'm going to rip off and give friends, they say Look behind you!, Trick or treat?, BOO!, Spooked?, Time for a coffin break?, Happy Haunting!, Practice safe hex, Ghostly Greetings, You are 'Boo'tiful!

Thank you SO much Phizzychick! It was such a great time to swap with you, and I couldn't have been happier with the tin! Even the Spanish stamps were appriciated, since my Mom is a Spanish teacher, so she's taking them to class lol!! Hope your Halloween is GREAT!

96  Re: The Candy/Sweets Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by LunaKitten on: September 16, 2008 06:34:29 AM
Ok, Happy_Hooker is still having camera problems. I don't have pictures of all I sent to her, but here's three of the items!
Hand painted box. I stalked out the fact that she likes octopi, so I made him the cupcake topper. There's also little cupcakes painted on the sides of the box and on the inside of the lid.

Mini Polymer Pie magnets!

I also sent a pillow shaped like a peppermint, that smells all pepperminty to help with headaches and tummyaches. A Shrinky dink cupcake suncatcher, and a shrinky dink candy necklace. Along with some candy shaped bathsoaps and lollipop lipglosses as extras. Hope she gets her camera working I can't wait to see some action shots!!

97  Fimo/Sculpy Nummies!!! (pic heavy) in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by LunaKitten on: August 29, 2008 03:38:44 PM
Here's my last load of little food charms. Sorry for some of the sideways and blurry pics, my camera's still busted and I was using my cell phone. All of them are hand sculpted. I would love to hear what you think, and I am always up for constructive crits and ideas! (Oh and all of them have rings to attach to charms or stitch markers, even if they are hidden in the pics)

Cupcake with a strawberry on top:

Cupcake with sprinkles:

Poison Cupcake: (idea from the neopets evil faerie gifts from her quests)

Lemon Pie:

Stick Lolli:

Lolli Trio:

Strawberry Tart:

Poison Pie (also inspired by the Evil Faerie on neopets):

Hope you enjoyed!

99  Raven Myth Shrinky Dink pendant in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by LunaKitten on: August 22, 2008 05:16:18 PM
My Mom is a teacher at one of our local highschools. She teaches English, Spanish, and this year she has her first mythology course. One of her favorites to teach is the myth of the Raven from the Pacific Northwest Native Americans. So, I interpreted the image of the Raven from the book she has: Raven A Trickster Tale from the Pacific Northwest. I freehand sketched it on the shrinkydink page, used sharpies to color him, and when he was done baking I used embossing powder and put a few layers of the clear on him to seal him. Mom just has to find a chain for him. I photoed him in the window so that you can see the colors better. I would love feedback, I had alot of fun making him, and Mom loved him.

So, without further ado... Here's the awesome package I got from Happy_Hooker!!!

Here's everything all layed out! I love the black crocheted hat! It fits great (tho I look a wreck today, so you'll have to wait for an action shot. She also gave me the rest of the cupcake fabric from the pouch, it's so cute!):

Here's the two cute pouches and the iron on sparkly cupcake, which I am SO putting on my apron that I am making out of an old pair of jeans!!:

Here's the adorable crocheted cakes! My cat has already stolen the little purple one, and is happily running up and down the stairs chasing it!:

Here's an action shot of the great Cupcake hat and matching scarf, modeled by my niece who has now had it on for an hour, and refuses to give it back! (and please excuse the mess of toys in the background, I have a nine month old, and a set of almost 3 year old twins in the house lol):
