Yeah... and check out all the other pretty underwear for men on that site.
Funny? I think.  Grin

I'm rooting for No 5 - it looks more... um... exclusive than the others. Really retrolicious too. It's simply the most prettifullest!  Cheesy

Just browsing old posts...

That's the coolest lil doll (and what a cool young man)!! Cheesy I'm so inspired now I HAVE to buy felt and make something similarly preciousssss.

And oh, that doll-making link from dyabolica is moved and instead there is another one which shows how to make PRETTY PANTIES WITH LACE - FOR MEN! Shocked Maybe it's just me, but isn't that hillarious?  Check out the Snake Charmer here:

Nice work there Donna!

I just love your choice of colors - really cool, I'm so snowed in on making everything I do look so colorful and kitschy as possible right now, so it's nice to see something that's kitschy in spirit (plastic beads) but portrayed in a little more sophisticated way (black/white)!

Huh (Trying to make sense here, but I, too, am only Swedish and can't seem to express myself that well in English. Sorry for any unclearities grrls!)   Wink

I've actually done something similar in the past but with a photo of Che Guevara (ok, I was 14 or something - give me a break! Wink) And recently I made one with a detailed pic of an icon-y Catholic Jesus which turned out great, and one with Hello Kitty which didn't come out as "professional" looking...

Keep up the un-kitschy kitsch!

Thanks so much for the reply!  Kiss  That "sock"/"pillow case" thing is probably the best idea safety-vise, and comes with the bonus of being washable...

Now I just have to find a working sewing machine and my hot (!) creations will soon come to life (mad scientist laugh)!  Cheesy

The Real Kittygirl (sorry for being slightly off topic - again):

Hee hee... Cool! Yes, I'm Swedish (not speaking Finnish) and totally in love with the Finnish mentality - that sisu thing you know!  Wink

I <3 Helsinki
I <3 Tupla
I <3 all those great authors over there (especially Arto Paasilinna)!

So, now that I've spilled my love for Finland all over, back to the craftsterish business. To answer your question: at the moment I'm into making jewelry - long, sparkly, beady, dangly earrings!! Cool I'm also trying to get ahold on the perfect pretty paper to make cards and such for Christmas, but doesn't know where to start...  So many projects - so little time! ---> University studies tend to totally take over my "life" and I'm seriously thinking of quitting and just work instead, that leaves more time to craft!  Grin And that's what it's all about, right? Right!  How about your main craft interests? Do you have any advice on related (and inexpensive) stores in Helsinki or Stockholm to visit? (suppose I should send you a private message instead of ramblin all over... but I'm just excited finding fellow Vikings here!  Wink)

Wo hooooo! Craftster OWNS me!  Kiss

I'm so much into this idea, it's great!

I have a material question that maybe you crafty wiz-kids could answer: How about Fleece-fabric? Is it nuke-safe you think? I'm not going to be popular with my in-laws this Christmas if my hand-crafted-with-love hot bags makes their ovens explode... <snort> or if we had to spend the holidays at a motel due to some "mysterious" hot pad fire-related accident!  Shocked

What do you think, would it work with fleece or felt material? I hope so...

(Somewhat out of topic but can't resist:)

Hey, I spot a fellow Scandinavian.  Shocked Cool!! ---> The Real Kittygirl: It looks like we have quite a few things in common - except for lurking around Craftster... Do you by any chance speak Swedish?

439  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Cupcake Candles on: November 07, 2004 08:52:43 AM
Pretty pretty candle!!!!  Smiley That's a great idea, just as anyone already said. (yum!)
Except from sprinkles I'm thinking 3D-stuff like cherries, slices of lime or strawberries made from wax and put on top to add detail - not sure that would work though (?) but I bet it'd look delicious...

And that birthday candle thought from Mizbehaving is purely genious.

Jeez, I toot your horn!! That's one great costume, and I bet the other moms were just jealous of your make-up skills.  Wink He looks so cool!
