1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / First project in YEARS! a punky dress for 10mo on: September 21, 2012 06:29:49 AM
My daughter Tsuki, has been sorely neglected when it comes to sewing projects. I havent really done any sewing for years, since before I even met my husband!
But yesterday, I felt the urge. I`d been planning this little dress in my head for a week beforehand. I grabbed this awesome fabric from the cupboard (which I had been saving for years too as I`d find a use for it 'at some point'). I drew around one of Tsukis dresses, cut it out and totally winged it from there. No measuring. No sewing machine! (Its all handstitched and I have a blister to prove it).
Im so glad it fits her!!

Not the best photos ever but she wouldnt hold still and I was excited Tongue lol
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Teemo Hat for Hubby on: September 03, 2012 03:08:55 AM
My husband David is forever pestering me to make him gaming related stuff. Recently, he`s been playing League of Legends. I finally relented (aka finished my other projects) and decided that a teemo hat looked like it would be interesting to make.
So here it is Smiley

and an action shot!

(He`s decided that everytime he plays LoL he`s going to wear it. So he now spends most evenings on his computer in the corner of the living room wearing this. He looks ridiculous! lol)
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / ABC Blanket on: July 31, 2012 02:41:29 PM
Well, I wanted ANOTHER blanket for Tsuki`s cot. She will only sleep with a crocheted blanket (well trained lol), its so nice watching her snuggle into something Ive made for her.
Anyway, I took inspiration from an ABC blanket on ravelry but charted out my own letters and made it up as I went along pretty much.
I still have to sew in the ends but Im pretty chuffed with how it came out Cheesy
4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Mrs Tortoise and 2 Stegosaurus` for Tsuki on: June 04, 2012 03:48:10 PM
I made a few little toys to fill up Tsuki`s lonely looking amigurumi shelf. I LOVE how the tortoise came out Cheesy

5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Itty Bitty Amigurumi keyrings on: June 04, 2012 03:45:12 PM
I`ve been trying my hand at crocheting smaller things than Im used to. I thought some keyrings would be a good place to start!

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Dinosaur costume for Tsuki [pic fat] on: June 04, 2012 03:39:57 PM
I finished this in April but completely forgot to post it! I literally only made it for these photos. Utterly pointless but I love it so much! The nappy cover was a complete nightmare to get the right shape though :/

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / A couple of Owl Hats for Tsuki on: March 17, 2012 07:46:20 AM
Oh wow! The last time I posted on Craftster I was hugely pregnant, now I have a 4 month old daughter!
Here she is, the cheeky little monkey, wearing a couple of Owl hats I made Smiley

Tsuki says HIII to everyone! Have a great day guys xx
8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Fawn Lamb Thingy for Tsuki [pic obese] on: August 29, 2011 11:45:05 AM
I bought a few balls of yarn recently and have so far made https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=388773.msg4602798#msg4602798 and a little blankie. I had some yarn left over so I decided to make a little plush Smiley

Its a sort of lamb, fawn thingy. I wrote the pattern down sort of so at some point it should be available Cheesy (you know, once its written up and Ive had Tsuki and got over the whole sleep deprivation thing lol)

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Tsuki Lettering on: August 21, 2011 07:49:58 AM
Inspired by https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=340609.0

I wasnt particularly happy with the letter charts that were used in the project above so I charted out my own, which was by far the MOST annoying part of this project!
I am uber happy with it tho, and my husband even seemed fairly pleased with them when they went up on the wall.

(I swear tho, if she comes out a boy Im naming him Tsuki and dressing him in dresses till he`s 5 anyway)

All finished and in place

Working out the spacings

In progress

The project came together surprisingly quick too! and only took me 4 days from start to finish.

C&C Welcome.
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Big Fat Preggo Sweater on: August 17, 2011 06:26:40 AM
I dont knit, as a general rule. But for this I have made an exception Smiley I really wanted to make myself something to wear as my belly expands and it just wasnt going to work in crochet. I made the pattern up as I went along without really measuring or anything lol. Im just glad it fits!

I have a feeling its never going to be cold enough to ever wear it tho, pregnancy has made my already warm blood boil !
