Seriously wanna make some now. I thought the alliance logo was the lion?

It is, it was just too difficult to chart it out nicely using the yarn/hook size I had to hand at the time lol
13  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Fawn Lamb Thingy for Tsuki [pic obese] on: August 29, 2011 11:45:05 AM
I bought a few balls of yarn recently and have so far made https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=388773.msg4602798#msg4602798 and a little blankie. I had some yarn left over so I decided to make a little plush Smiley

Its a sort of lamb, fawn thingy. I wrote the pattern down sort of so at some point it should be available Cheesy (you know, once its written up and Ive had Tsuki and got over the whole sleep deprivation thing lol)

14  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Tsuki Lettering on: August 21, 2011 07:49:58 AM
Inspired by https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=340609.0

I wasnt particularly happy with the letter charts that were used in the project above so I charted out my own, which was by far the MOST annoying part of this project!
I am uber happy with it tho, and my husband even seemed fairly pleased with them when they went up on the wall.

(I swear tho, if she comes out a boy Im naming him Tsuki and dressing him in dresses till he`s 5 anyway)

All finished and in place

Working out the spacings

In progress

The project came together surprisingly quick too! and only took me 4 days from start to finish.

C&C Welcome.
15  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Big Fat Preggo Sweater on: August 17, 2011 06:26:40 AM
I dont knit, as a general rule. But for this I have made an exception Smiley I really wanted to make myself something to wear as my belly expands and it just wasnt going to work in crochet. I made the pattern up as I went along without really measuring or anything lol. Im just glad it fits!

I have a feeling its never going to be cold enough to ever wear it tho, pregnancy has made my already warm blood boil !

29 weeks in this picture

a close up of the collar, which i made up as i went along, i really like it!

@talli_1985 Thanks a bunch! I was just looking for these and almost gave up. I had them bookmarked once upon a time but it was lost in a computer crash. I really appreciate it. Smiley

No probs, my little one is due Nov so I`ve been hunting the pattern so I`ll be ready for her Smiley
17  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Re: Dreads! (Pic Obese) on: August 13, 2011 10:03:45 AM
First off - congrats!!! Babies are pretty exciting business. Are you going to make little baby sized dreads for him/her?? Ah-ha kidding (but seriously you should do it) Wink

Second - I LOVE the dreads! You look so classy with the red ones in. Really awesome!! I've also been too scared for dreads, I never even thought of something like this Shocked

You have no idea how tempting it is to make mini-baby dreads now....I think my husband would kill me tho  Undecided

19  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Dreads! (Pic Obese) on: August 01, 2011 07:40:34 AM
I should have posted these earlier but I just never got round to it.
I`ve wanted dreads FOREVER, but never been brave enough to dread up my real hair :/ So last year I dyed my hair fleuro pink and stuck in some MASSIVE pink dreads I made,

They were epic, even though everybody though I looked like a total burk Tongue
So for the next set I decided to do something slightly more low key, I went bright red and ordered some hand-blended merino roving (Gorgeous colour!)

I adore this set SO much! They were the right length, thickness, colour, everything! As soon as it gets a bit cooler they are going back in!
After that set I made a new set in hand-blended purple shades, with turquoise tips. But I couldnt dye my hair to match properly as I found out I was pregnant Cheesy

The next set I want to make is in my natural hair colour so that I can add in random bits of colour by just swapping a couple of dreads in >.<
20  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Epic Scrapghan on: July 24, 2011 12:55:46 AM
We're both the same with scraps of yarn - except that I knit.
I don't seem to  be reducing my stash at all. Did this help yours?

A combination of making this and HAVING to throw some out to make room for our impending arrival means I now only have around 1 black sack full of scraps left Smiley I feel proud lol.
