So me and the bf have been renovating our house, we have finished most of the major stuff and have moved onto decoration and furniture. (well i have anyway!) So on one of my trips down to the op-shop i spotted this little beauty------ only $12.75

too good to resist...i had a very blank wall in the kitchen area that needed filling! I just hung a photoframe there and it was looking very bare!
So when i got this baby home i ripped it apart,

took out the hinges as i wanted to be able to open it all the way up, reupholstered it, added extra padding and painted it black/brown to match my floors!

And the final piece! A great solution to that empty space and a stylish place to keep my photos and mementos! Also a good place to put my handbag when i get home! Let me know what you think!

36  Manifest Cosplay Temari Naruto Dante Devil may cry costume **now with tute** in Costumes: Completed Projects by missmelissa on: September 25, 2006 07:40:06 PM
I just recently went to the annual Manifest (Anime) Convention/Festival and thought I would post some pics of the costumes that i made for me and my boy!

I went as the character Temari from Naruto and he went as Dante from Devil may cry 4 (I also made a lolita/Fruits kimono out of hello kitty fabric)

We spent ages and ages and ages making these costumes, especially his sword **I sculpted the skull out of clay for the sword and sewed the jacket** and he made the blade and handle from insulation foam and fiberglass!

Let me know what you think, I might post a tutorial on how we made the sword if anyone was interested

Or here for the manifest website
or here for a link to someone else's photos of the three days
