Hi! First of all sorry if my English lacks some "technicity" (not a native English speaker!)
I am making my version of the Colette Patterns "sorbetto" top. The one that you can download for free, but I suppose you already know!).
This particular version has tied straps instead of sewn ones, but I can not fins a way to sew the round edges, which are quite small. I made a picture of them near my hand for size reference!
My question is: how do you sew that tiny corner without looking like a little pouch, as pictured in the last image? It may be a basic thing, but I am a beginner and I haven't had luck checking on the internet/youtube!
Thank you very much in advance, ladycrafters!  Wink

3  Hi! Could you help me with some headband (and tiny flowers!) making? TIA! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by Calypsa on: February 09, 2013 09:42:40 AM
So, I wanted to make this... It's Keira Knightley in some premiere wearing a gorgeous read headband!

So, I bought these flowers (and a black regular plastic headband):

The thing is, how do I attach the flowers to the headband so the twig part isn't too bulky? I saw some tutorial where instead of a headband, a wire was used. (the flowers were woven into the wire).

Do you think I could get away with just hot-glueing and then spray-painting? Or should I weave? If so, how do you ladies do??

Thanks in advance and sorry for such a lot of questions!!

5  What do I do with this mirror frame??? in What the heck can I do with THIS? by Calypsa on: January 05, 2010 12:15:45 PM
Hi there! Any ideas about what can I do with this mirror frame that has been sitting around my house forever! It actually has the mirror, just took off to clean everything up!
The frame is beautifully crafted, and I would like to find some use for it. The thing is that it doesnt really fit with the decoration we have on all the other rooms (sort of minimalist, dark woods, white walls). We were thinking about painting it all in a matte gold colour and aging it with some crackle paint. My boyfriend wants it to really stand out, and be very shiny (and then my idea would be something silvery instead of golden).

Anyway, any idea will be highly appreciated!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance from Barcelona!!

I like this blouse very much!!!!!!

But unfortunately, I cant find the pattern in my country. I asked if someone could scan, but now I change the question: do you know where can I buy that pattern? Hugs!
