1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Easter / Easter Door Wreath on: March 29, 2013 04:07:19 AM
It is Good Friday
so we made this door wreath,
we used a straw wreath, shop plastic eggs and shop flower shapes and some buttons to make the flowers
we attached them with paperclips.
as its still very damp and cold with the risk of snow and showers, I have placed my Wreath in the hall way window...hopefully Mother Nature will see this and give Spring a boost start  Grin Grin

6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / my first attempt at tab blanket/car seat blanket on: October 22, 2010 05:02:41 AM
I made two tag blankets today  Grin
I started them last week but my silly sewing maching had a hissy fit so couldnt continue, however I have loaned a lovely old sewing maching that works like a dream  Smiley
I have made them larger so they could be used in the car to cover the baby, as when my son was a baby a normal blanket or shawl was to bulky
one side is fleece the other cute fabric I have had stashed for some time.
46 cm x 102 cm
