1  Golden inchies: my first crafts in a year :D in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Syrinxe on: May 31, 2010 10:23:10 AM
I've been extremely busy with school and haven't had much time for anything really artsy. But I needed a way to de-stress in the midst of studying for exams, so here these are:

All of them together (the details don't show up so well):

They were a lot of fun to do and I'm pretty happy with the result Cheesy

If you guys would like a tutorial, feel free to post and tell me!

School is out! YESSSS I survived freshman year of highschool ._.

So now I have plenty of time to craft! Here are some 1:12 miniature strawberry&cherry tarts, made from Sculpey III. Everything is handmade by me, including the strawberry canes. Cheesy

That's a US dime in the picture. Smiley

Feedback appreciated! Sorry for the less-than-stellar pictures. xD

5  Juliet mask! :D in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by Syrinxe on: May 29, 2009 11:34:10 PM
This is a little craft I created for English class, when we read Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. This is a mask for Juliet that contains related symbolism found in the play.

Note the lips that are formed into a rose, and the sun/moon/stars. Done in cardstock, painted blue, with details in gold and yellow acrylic paint, with metallic colored pencils, glued beads, and a bit of glitter. Smiley

The decoration along the top are drawn in colored pencil, not glued on.

Just finished this project.

The truffles are polymer clay, the box is paper and painted. This is 1:12 scale dollhouse miniature, and the box is about one inch long. Smiley

Hope you guys like it.

I have cautiously entered the jewelry field. Here are my attempts at wire bead rings.....I cheated a bit by gluing down the beads instead of wrapping them, but oh well. Cheesy

Thanks for the compliments. Smiley I made a few more today:

Tea time

The top one (colored pencil) is a bit darker in real life, and the bottom (watercolor) is messier in real life? xD Which style/medium looks better?

Face with...um....colors? XD

10  1:12 miniature Gingerbread House in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by Syrinxe on: November 26, 2008 03:43:00 PM
I haven't made anything in a long time, so when I got a break, I made this little gingerbread house. It's 1:12 scale, measuring a bit less than 1 inch long.

(Please excuse the bad photos. xD)

How is it?
