2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: Panniers on: March 26, 2010 07:29:35 AM
Thanks! I'll try and get hold of some bungee cords. If my panniers are successful then I'll post them in the completed projects section!

I've bought some PVC fabric to make a double pannier for my bike. I'd like to be able to easily remove them and use as bags- has anyone got ideas as to how best to attach them to my pannier rack? I will be using them to carry general shopping, so fruit, veg, maybe a couple of cans/bottles/cartons etc.

I love the colours that you used. I'm making one at the moment- it's taking me a while as I didn't understand the instructions (I'm a beginner), but I think I've figured it out using the diagrams rather than the written instructions. Now I know how simple it is I plan to make several of these to match different outfits!

They are all great- lots of inspiration for jazzing up my warderobe! I especially like the little off the shoulder sleeves in the last one. Did you make the lace roses you used on some of the tshirts or did you buy them already made- because I may borrow your idea for those-if that's ok?

I love them all! Really cool mix of colours and fabrics! How do you go about making a hoody etc in 2 dif fabrics? did you create a pattern allowing seam allowance around the panels or just add different fabric panel on after it was made?
