Presentation does make a difference, doesn't it?

For sure! I always feel better about my food when it's pretty. Smiley

Here's my final update:

Glitter string ornaments - I feel like I had way too much trouble with these, maybe it was the glue I used.

Hot handlers - requested by my grandfather, and I made one for my mom's stocking as well.

Felt ferret for my boyfriend (full post here) - this was actually the first thing I made, but didn't want to put up pictures in case he saw them!
1525  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Felt ferret (link to pattern) on: January 01, 2011 11:55:36 AM
I made this little guy for my boy for Christmas, since he has a ferret but can't take it to school with him.

All hand-stitched felt, and seed beads for eyes and nose.

I'm pretty proud of him! Especially since I tried this pattern last year, and failed miserably.

Here's the pattern I used: http://www.silverseams.com/opensource/felt-ferret-pattern.html

And the original! Cheesy

Looking forward to this! Where is a good place to buy match boxes?

I get mine at the grocery store. I imagine a large pharmacy would have them too. Or you could make your own! http://blog.swap-bot.com/rachels-matchbox-template/

I feel like I really need some tassely epaulets - they would help announce my importance to the other people in line at the post office. If I have a space free, I'll sign up for this one! I might not have room until February though. There are too many awesome swaps lately!

Just a reminder to everyone that sign ups will be starting next week, as soon as I have an open slot - so save a space for this swap! I know there are tons of awesome swaps starting up now; I'm going to have a hard time picking which ones I absolutely need. Smiley
