I just finished this one.  I really like him!  I even made him a little slingshot.

A close up of his face

And here he is with his slingshot, sorry for the hands, I was too excited and wanted his pics up NOW! So didn't take the time to tack it in place.

K, my pics are a bit blurry, I just noticed now that I had my cam on sports mode, I'll fix the pics later
Thanks for looking!!  Hope you like him!!
99  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Luigi Blanket on: May 13, 2010 06:55:25 PM
I just finished up the Super Mario Swap here ( which was AWESOME!!!) and heres what I made for my bestest partner fluffypants.

Luigi was her fave so I thought this would be perfect for her.  The only thing I would change is that I didn't realize that the pic I chose didn't show the "L" on his hat, but I still liked it and all of its 400 squares!!!  I forgot to measure how big it was, but it was a nice size lapghan anyways.

Thanks for looking!!!! Grin
100  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / WAAAAAHHHHHH!!! (PIC HEAVY) on: May 07, 2010 05:09:05 PM
OK, I joined my very first Craftster swap last month and I mostly crochet or cross stitch, so I wanted something else to also do and I found STAMPS!!!  I thought, I can do that....maybe. So I ordered the speedball beginner set and got some huge erasers from the $ store for practice and went carving!  I LOVED IT!!!!!  My stamps turned out awesome I think!!!
Fire Flower

Question Mark Block

Boo

And a mushroom

Soooooo, (heres the WAAHHH part), I thought, I can make one of these for myself, but of what?  I LOVE LOTR and I went to the play a couple of years ago and got myself a souvenir spoon with this really cool logo on it, so I thought its perfect!!

So, I sketched it all out (guess what I did wrong  Roll Eyes) with a pen ONTO the eraser.  Looked great, and went carving away.  It took me a swhile with all the little pieces, but I think I did pretty good, EXCEPT...........

ITS BACKWARDS!!!!!!! I know you're supposed to sketch onto paper with pencil and rub it on, but I was so anxious to get it done that I didn't think., BUT I found a temporary use for it!!!  A template for the right stamp

And here it is all right and I love it!!!  Now......what can I do with the wrong one???
