I haven't posted anything before, so here I go!
I wanted to do a project that let me practice different stitches, but wasn't a typical sampler.  I dug around, and I found this Aunt Martha pattern at the local JoAnn's.  It kept me entertained, and my stitching did improve!  I didn't do them in order, it was kinda random, so you can't see the progression on the finished squares.  I finished these earlier this year, and they've sat...
and sat...
I'm almost done with my class this semester, and that's when the stitching bug usually hits me, and these are sitting in the basement, whispering to me...
I had the idea of turning these into a quilt, but I'm not sure about that anymore.  I've cut out all the squares already, but the size of it is daunting (have I mention I need things to keep... oooh, look at the shiny new project over there!) and I'm thinking about making it a wall hanging, opinions are welcome-

I like it!  I'm a newbie quilter (working on my 3rd one, 1st that is actual bed sized) and I haven't seen the color strip in back.  I think it's cool!
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Baby It's Cold Outside on: July 18, 2008 02:20:07 PM
What a cute little thing!  I like that pattern Smiley  Baby clothes are the best to start out on in any craft, IMO. So little, quick and satisfying and it'll fit at some point or another!
Good Job!

This is beyond awesome. You are talented! My dad is the hardest person to craft for, and this is SUCH an inspiration for him.  He spent 1+ yr scanning and compiling family photos since the 1800s.  (generations of photo bugs in the fam)Thank you so much for posting this!  His b'day present is found!
