1  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Cigarette Girl Costume - Burning Man! IMG HEAVY on: August 24, 2010 11:09:30 PM
Um... just in case no one else has offered, I'd be happy to take this beautiful ensemble off your hands! The idea of these lovely pieces getting ruined by the sand and dust at Burning Man is horrifying! I'd bring a zip-closed garment bag with you.
2  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: I love southern food...but...need recipes... on: July 30, 2009 05:43:56 PM
I don't know what specific kind of Southern food your looking for (Tex-Mex? Cajun?) but there's a great food/recipe blog called Homesick Texan that has some unique (well, for those of us who have never set foot in Texas) Texan recipes: http://homesicktexan.blogspot.com/.
3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: Knight Birthday Party *PICS!* on: June 11, 2009 09:22:24 AM
Forget the kids! I would love to have a birthday party like this!

Hmm... the boyfriend's 26 b-day is coming up next month.... Cheesy

Seriously awesome job!
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Carpe Diem! QFS 2009 (image INTENSE) on: May 20, 2009 05:03:20 AM
I loved the QFS! I regret that I only had time to go once during my two years at UCSC, but my sister and I had a blast!

These are amazing dresses. Good themes are hard to come by, and this was truly inspired! The designs are jaw-dropping; you have such talent!
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Deep Sea Angeler Fish on: April 05, 2009 08:27:31 AM
Oh my god. I really, really wish I actually knew how to knit. This is just so cool!
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: It's a motherfrakkin' Cylon! on: April 05, 2009 08:24:02 AM
I saw the pic and immediately knew it was a Cylon raider! I'm not a good knitter, but the way the stitches curve is pretty elegant, imho. Awesome! (Once you finish it off, string it from a tree branch with fishing line and take shaky-cam film of you running away for that authentic Battlestar look.) Tongue
7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Topless Gnome Girl Stuffie (NSFW) on: March 31, 2009 09:20:19 PM
I loved looking at that book when I was young... and I immediately recognized that picture! Are you going to make any friends for her?
8  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: LittleBigPlanet, Mario, and Katamari themed shirts (image heavy) on: December 30, 2008 09:04:54 AM
I like the Sackboy one... but King of All Cosmos for the win!! <3
9  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Cheapest/Easiest Last min gift ever-Chocolate Toffee Pieces; "Christmas Crac on: December 23, 2008 10:33:41 PM
I made toffee just this morning for gifts, too! Unemployment plus a new sense of baking enjoyment plus Michael's coupon equals cheap gift goodie baskets with homemade fudge, toffee, bread baked from scratch, and--my newfound love--roasted garlic butter.
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Riot cross stitch on: October 12, 2008 07:52:30 AM
Such a novel theme for needlework. I especially love the colors in the first one; there's enough variation for some detail without disrupting the minimalist and monochromatic look.
