851  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Small Mystery Swap Send by July 1st on: May 31, 2008 06:33:07 PM
One of my projects may need to go on hold as I think I am short handed on the embroidary floss I needed for a small part of my project.  It's sad because the closest crafting place is 40 mins away. When you live in a town of 600 you are sure to be far from EVERYTHING. Roll Eyes

lol, awww i really am sorry...when is your first swap over?

Send outs are July 1st. Oh well. I should save my pennies for college anyways.

Are you a CP cast member here at Disney???

Not yet Sad  My school doesn't let you go until your second year (unlike the normal semester rule).  I am planning on it though  Cool

I was planning on making the exact same kind of scarf with mittens at the ed but more like kitty paws with little claws on the ends. I make kitty hats already.

Love your hat (^_^)

that's very sweet...how are you going to feel about sticking it repeatedly with pins? Wink

Oh I know. I just have to think of it as giving it acupuncture(sp?). That way I can look at it as "helping" the little one.  When I first made it I would place the pins in a manor that created wiskers so I would just view it as "part of it".  Smiley

When I first looked at my partners wist I was stumped but as the day went on I took clues from items and posts and at some points would combine them.  I really hope he/she likes everything. I even picked up a new skill just for him/her!  So hello partner. You don't know who I am but when you do you will know what I'm talking about Smiley

Oh yeah, and my JOann shopping trip took 3 hours but was very productive!  Now I officially have all of my materials and I am working on all of the projects at once!

Happy Crafting!

Thank You  Smiley  I hand sewed it. I never use a machine for anything. I think it is easier to just do it by hand as I can do tricky things easier. I would have never been able to do this with a sewing machine. I could see how a machine would be good for things like quilting, but anything that is not stright I just leave to my good ole hands.  Yes, even if it takes me WAY longer  Tongue
