Hi. I love the miao hats and thought with the shiny tape duck it would be perfect for it. I have been teaching myself how to do Japanese Kanzashi fabric flowers and thought duck tape would be a good medium for it...  I here the link to how the original hats should look like...

Here is my version...I didn't submitted on time....Sad oh well...Maybe next time...

2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Well, photos with Photshop man. --lots of pics on: October 29, 2008 01:00:54 PM
Just wanted to share some pics I been working on.  I have been working in Photoshop with them;  I also need to get some opinions on which ones to put into a portfolio for my work.  Well, I can ask my sis but she not very objective about it.

The original picture was taken of my sis a long time ago.

Here the photoshop verisons:

Which one do you prefer most?

This one was taken this summer of my friend at an anime con.

Here the photo shop versions.

Hmmm...What do you think?
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Photos for my niece's fashion show-lots of pic on: October 27, 2008 01:27:05 AM
I just started getting back into photography.  Here some photos I took of my niece fashion show.  I blurred the background in Photoshop so that it would not distract from the clothing as much.  How effective do you think it is?  Be warned the makeup is very (retro) 80's  Wink, I did all the hairstyles of the girls so this was a lot of work;  I think I spent over 2 hours doing hair, good thing my sis did makeup.

The clothing is little to sexy for me and sorry about the white stools, it was all I had to work with.

These are some nice close shots I took of them

4  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Gothic cuffs--lots of pics on: October 18, 2008 01:11:43 PM
Hi!  No quite sure where to put this...I been making lots of stuff because my niece is having a fashion show for her Anime club; a request for Gothic cuff came in.  Here are some that I finished.  She wants me to sell these at the local anime con, too; but I am not to sure how they will sell.  Need feedback on the designs and what about pricing?  I am fairly slow on the beading; it takes me and hour or two for the beading for each pair.   Thanks for the help.

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Wire, beads, earring finding, & chopsticks...Tada!! Hairstick- lots of pics on: October 16, 2008 04:19:48 PM
Hi.  I going to a Multicultural fair and my sis requested that I made these hair sticks for her.  They sold fairly well at the local anime con, but it may be a different crowd.  What you think of the designs and which one do you like best.

These are the ones I like:

There alot more but links instead, some feedback will be great! Thanks.

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Recycle link bracelets into necklaces--lots of pics on: October 13, 2008 11:19:20 AM
Hi, what you think of these designs?  I used some old link bracelets to create the necklaces.  I want to make a versatile necklace; you can wear it in the front or back and the clasp can be change to different link for different effects.

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / I just finish some my first Wa lolita outfits! edited with pics on: October 13, 2008 12:37:10 AM
My first post and I am a newbie so be gentle. (lol)  But pretty excited how they turn out.  My first pic is of green Wa lolita with created the trim from a savage curtain.  The red and black one took me a long time to figure out.  I was really inspire by the Victorian goth and the Wa lolita look and decided to see how it would look combine.  I think need to work on creating fluffier skirts for them, so what so you think?

Last pic is when I put makeup on my model and struck the sleeves on her head like a bride veil.  Then told her to think Bride of Darkness....haha

All these picture could also be found at http://annin07.deviantart.com/ if you can't see them.
