1  Earring Heaven... in Beads: Completed Projects by memnet on: May 23, 2008 09:23:56 PM
Im in earring mode right now and having a ball with it.

I was really pleased with how these earrings turned out.  I used a jig board to make the shapes. These earrings are made of gold metal wire, gold colored seed beads and brown goldstone beads.

Nothing like some grinning skulls swinging from your ears.

Ive also been practicing making ear wires and so far so good.  These earrings are made of glass and moonstone.

I bought these glass leaf pendants some time ago and had been wondering what to do with them.  I think they work really well with the red adventurine and brown goldstone beads. Another set of hand made ear wires.

Yep, more skullscoffins tooand yet another set of hand made ear wires. I bought quite a few of these skulls and coffins..I know that some day I'll manage to use all of them. Wink

2  Goddess of Spring Necklace in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by memnet on: May 12, 2008 12:15:00 PM
This necklace isn't made only of polymer clay, but the pendant is. This necklace is a bit different, but I think it is fun.  I titled the necklace the Goddess of Spring...due to it being all green and also due to the pendant on it.  The pendant is made out of Sculpey; I used one of those little face molds to make the face.  For the hair I used a little polymer clay press thing (sort of like a cookie dough shooter).  After she was baked I painted her all black, then dry-brushed green over the black and then white over the green. I used Sculpey sealant over the paint.  I then wrapped wire into a corkscrew shape, attached the wire to the pendant and threaded the cats eye beads onto the wire.  It actually looks pretty neat when worn.

3  Roses and Stones in Beads: Completed Projects by memnet on: April 26, 2008 06:44:27 PM
I recently made this necklace...

...and these earrings...

...from unakite, acrylic rose shaped beads, some cats eye beads and a few other components.  I know the mix of acrylic and stone is an odd one, but I really do like the look and am very pleased with the finished pieces.  I like to mix different things together.  Cheesy
